Extremely disappointing experience with Baby & Co – avoid if you expect good customer service

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Baby & Co.

I purchased a Cybex Gazelle S pram which has been used for less than two weeks, and already the rear wheel keeps jamming, making the pram unusable. This is a premium product that should absolutely not be failing so quickly.

The situation has been made even more stressful because I have newborn twins and I am currently recovering from a C-section, meaning I am unable to drive. This pram is essential for me to be able to get out of the house with my babies, yet I have been left without one while I’m told they need to “contact the supplier” and this could take 48 hours.

In the meantime, I have had to pay £66 to hire a replacement pram from Baboodle for two weeks just so I can take my babies out and attend appointments. I fully expect to be reimbursed for this cost as it has only happened because of a faulty product supplied by Baby & Co.

This is not even the first issue I have experienced. The original pram arrived damaged, meaning we already had to wait for a replacement. Now the replacement has developed a fault almost immediately.

The customer service has been extremely poor. No genuine apology has been offered and there has been no urgency shown despite the circumstances. Trying to contact anyone is also incredibly frustrating — the phone system repeatedly says their mailbox is full and then cuts you off, leaving you unable to speak to anyone.

For a company selling essential baby equipment, the lack of support has been extremely disappointing. I expected much better service, especially after purchasing such an expensive item.

I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before purchasing from Baby & Co if you expect reliable products and accessible customer support.

I had a very disappointing experience with Baby & Co. The delivery information on the website is misleading. It states that delivery takes up to 14 days, which most customers would understand as receiving the item within two weeks. However, after placing my order, I was told that after those two weeks the shipment would only then be sent, extending the wait by another two to three weeks. Even after more than a month, my order was still delayed, and I had to spend my own time repeatedly chasing updates. As a goodwill gesture, I was offered a coffee cup, which unfortunately didn’t even fit the pram.

Unfortunately, the product itself has also been a huge disappointment. I purchased the Cybex Beezy, and the seating position is very poorly designed. My baby constantly slides down the seat and leans to one side. Even with the harness tightened correctly, she still slips because the seat doesn’t hold her in an upright position. Instead, it feels like she’s sitting at an awkward angle, with her legs raised and no proper support.

Another major concern is the exposed hard plastic parts inside the canopy. They sit right next to my baby’s head, and when she moves or leans, she frequently knocks her head against them. For a product designed for babies, I find this a serious design flaw and a safety concern.

By the time the pram finally arrived after such a stressful delay, I had already gone through weeks of frustration and anxiety. I wanted to return it, but after everything I had experienced with the delivery process, I felt completely exhausted and ended up keeping a pram that I am genuinely unhappy with.

Overall, I cannot recommend Baby & Co. due to the misleading delivery expectations, poor customer experience, and my disappointment with the Cybex Beezy itself.

I bought a car seat for a foster child which came with a free gift, they arrived in 1 big box and a small parcel. I no longer needed the seat and enquired about returning the items, I wasn't informed that it would be classed as 2 returns, if I had been I would have returned the 'free' gift via royal mail at a lot less than £22!! They were collected on the same day and I was then charged £44 for the returns as they classed the free gift of a small parcel as a separate return! Be aware if you have to do this as if Debbie had said to me at any point during the emails that I would be charged twice for the packages I would have sent 1 back separately myself and not been charged a ridiculous amount! Otherwise I would have opened the car seat box and put it inside! The car seat box wasnt even opened by myself. Absolute rip off, in a time where money is tight anyway and as they were collected on the same day, the smaller parcel being placed on top of the bigger one, so taking up zero room in the delivery drivers van! I was not expecting to be charged £22 for a free gift! It clearly wasnt free! Extremely disappointed with the service and emails dismissing how i was mislead by the company! Wouldn't ever buy from them again and as a foster carer I am always buying equipment! I wouldnt recommend to anyone moving forward either..

Commmunication from Baby and Co was dreadful.Items ordered 16th June delivered 16th July, website said 7-10 days delivery. They have no control over their suppliers and are unable to get up to date information from them. I would not recommend them unless you order at conception.

Bought a full baby pram bundle. Despite it saying available at the end of July on the website, it was delivered a week after purchase. Moreover, the price was the best in the market as I did lots of research before I purchase from them. So very please with product and delivery.
