Love BalkanFresh! I live in Wisconsin and there's just nowhere nearby to get Plazma and pasteta. I do sometimes order glass jars and they are always wrapped multiple times with tape and bubble wrap so that they arrive safely. Also very timely with refunds if an item ends up unfillable. My only regret is being too far away for fresh burek!

Delivery was quick. However, this time the company forgot to send me emails confirming my purchase...

Easy! Great service, timely communications, on time pack, ship & delivery! The package arrived cold when needed and other glass bottles were protected! They take the extra time to ensure it’s perfect. Well done.

I’m so happy to find this company! I ordered many different things from sweets, chips, jams, spreads, and meat. It arrived within 4-5 business day. My only concern is that the suho meso came warm. It was packaged with three ice bags that were already in liquid form by the time they were delivered to my door step. Not going to lie I’m a little scared to eat the meat. Not sure if fast shipping was an option (I didn’t pay attention) or if that would even help since delivery trucks are hot and not climate controlled. Regardless I will definitely use the company again just will not be ordering produce that can spoil.

I have ordered multiple times with hopes next time will be better. The first few times there was no next day shipping option, so some of the food came spoiled, when I contacted the CS they assured me the salami just looked that way - I grew up in the balkas eating the salami, so I knew it was bad and threw it out, but gave them a pass as they must be a small business and they’re “our” people. This kept happening, but the last time I paid for two orders totaling $200+ in just next day air shipping and was sent expired food. Not to mention most of the products looked like they were about to explode, but I’ll just chalk it up to shipping. And the salami looks grey - no expiration date listed. I am all about supporting our fellow immigrants, but damn this is absolutely inexcusable. I would let anything pass, but a clear expiration date from last year and the ingredients clearly have separated and no one thought twice about sending it.. I am just truly disappointed. Also I’d like to point out I did try to reach out to them, no response. I thought about disputing the charges with my bank, but I don’t want to be as sleazy as them.
