Not what it used to be
Branches closing at 3:00. Apple pay getting blocked. Zelle payment confirmation CONFIRMATION confirming the receipt of funds for a transaction and then hours later kicking the funds back to the buyer. Giving out loans to people that haven’t passed the seasoning period after going through foreclosure. Debit card activation phone number was out of service and the operator was so stupid they just provided me the same phone number twice that I just told him was out of service. I’m just going to switch banks at some point this year. BankFive has gone downhill.

Out of the country could not use my debit card.i called customer service as I confirmed that I was out of the country and was told the hold was released.i tried two more times times and still I had no access. It was very inconvenient.

BankFive's mobile app works well for basic transactions, though it could use some improvements. Their customer service representatives are friendly and helpful when you call. However, the branch hours are somewhat limited, which can be inconvenient. The checking account fees are reasonable compared to larger banks. Overall, a decent local banking option with room for growth.
