Just to put people wise seriously DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME leave that up to them i contacted these last week and in order to continue needed photos I also supplied a video where the Manageress is actually admitting fault. I thought i would just see if they were OK with sent items ignored ok I will ask again shouldnt need to then Martin Farr who was possibly irritated at me asking not as irritated as I was having to ask twice said I am dealing with all my cases and all the new ones what has that got to do with anything he stated there was no fault showing clearly there is and acknowledged by Manageress and he hadn't even got the decency to tell me this what a company Bartletts. What made me smile was Martins grammar in his original email was shocking I kind of excused this the signs were there though on the first day he said I will have to ask someone else what we need i presumed he was a trainee he has now gone from Tea Boy to being promoted in 2 days having all these cases nice to know you have still got the time to P people about really appreciate it WHAT IS IT YOU NEED FURTHER WHAT THE CLOWN MARTIN FARR EMAILED ME WHAT OUR CORRESPONDENCE WAS HOW YOU DEALT WITH MY CLAIM THERE WONT BE A FILE AS QUALIFIED MARTIN CHOSE NOT TO PURSUE ONE BUT HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS AWARE OF THIS TO BUSY APPARENTLY SO I AM ADVISING OTHER POTENTIAL CLIENTS TO STEAR WELL CLEAR I PRESUME YOU NOW KNOW WHO I AM THE ONE WHO WAS LEFT DANGLING AND STRUNG ALONG OR HAS THAT STILL NOT NARROWED IT DOWN DISGUSTING COMPANY THE MINIMUM YOU NEED TO DO IS LET PEOPLE KNOW IF YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF TAKING ON THEIR CASE NOT ME CHASING YOU

DO NOT USE THEY ARE USELESS.
They use locums and staff that have zero experience...... literally just got their qualification. They are simply inept, unprofessional and have no morals.
The experience I had I would not want anyone else to go through........ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE @@@@AVOID@@@ you will save yourself so much stress by avoiding this total shambles of a so called Solicitors!!!! Anything that is not a house being sold is way out of their league, even then by the reviews I have seen they are incompetent.

Most terrifying and disrespectful conveyancing experience ever had.

I discovered Bartletts through an online search to help with the sale of a property. Whilst Bartlett's were not local to me nor the property the process was simple and efficient. Emily was my main contact / solicitor and provided an excellent service, efficient communications, and quick to respond on any queries I had in the process. I would highly recommend Bartletts for conveyancing.

They started with the conveyancing process on 1st July 2024 and on 13th September asked for unrealistic documents such as dead contributors' addresses telephones emails and other documents. A lot of documents were provided however they had decided earlier to walk away. This was followed by an abortive recent bill waiting for payment. My concern is why they didn't raise their concerns at the beginning of July and left it too late.
Also, they are very arrogant, They never acknowledge that they receive anything. I asked for some documents from them a week ago but they have yet to respond.

My wife was trying to lend money to her stepson for a house purchase but these people were truly horrible, inconsistent in the ever-increasing information they requested about the source of the funds, patronising and disrespectful. Once they received info from me they didn't ever have the decency to acknowledge or say thank you. Avoid.

The reply back as they will sort out my complaint is a joke still awaiting for the case to be dealt with had to take it to the law ombudsman now passed from one person to the next and one office to the next alot of complaints i have put in and still awaiting never deal with this solicitor

James was excellent. Thorough, helpful and very professional throughout. Fees were made clear from the beginning and no hidden extras.

Probate absolutely fine. So we used them to sell a property. Great communication throughout right up to selling the property. Then when it came to transferring the funds had to keep emailing asking where the proceeds of the house sale were? Took 13 days in the end.
