Very bad customer service. I ordered a pizza through the app where I had a voucher of £10 off. They took the voucher and and the full amount from my account. I sent a message on Instagram on their Business chat and they even didn't bother to answer.

Since the new ownership, the quality has dropped noticeably (have tried more than once-customer for 10 years). It is not bad, but it used to be one of the best pizzas. The cheese is less and the tomato sauce less sweet. The delivery is fast and the pizza arrives hot (Hampstead branch). But the quality needs to go up to justify the price.

My experience with the Islington branch is nothing like those written here.
I've ordered several, over a coule of years, they've been a good size (I always go for medium) and arrive hot. I order online and get their own deliverer who checks its me that's ordered.
They'll continue to get my business until something goes wrong.

Expensive but used to be the best pizza via delivery. Since they are so pricy these days I don’t really get them as much as I used to. This time the flavour was great but arrived like warm. Arrived within 50mins of placing the order.

The recent change to make the £25 minimum for delivery still applicable AFTER deduction of the occasional £10 discount is very damaging to customer satisfaction and will drive me away from Basilico. It should be reversed.

Shocking experience. Do not use Basilico Pizza. I never will again!!
I love Basilico Pizzas and they have always been my first choice when ordering pizza. Never again!!!
I ordered a delivery this evening and was left waiting for hours. I definitely lost my appetite. When questioned they said they could send a pizza hours later (not hungry anymore). I don’t know if the change in their website has had an adverse affect on their ability to serve customers properly but I was not impressed by their customer service. Such a pity!

I made an order through deliveroo. The order never arrived. When I called them (several times) to chase the order up, and finally to get a refund they just gave me abuse down the phone and then marked the order as delivered. Deliveroo we also useless when trying to get a refund as "this restaurant uses it own delivery drivers" so they would not accept responsibility. I ended up claiming the money back through PayPal. Shocking service. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

Just had the very worst pizza. Quattro Stagioni. Dried up piece of oily bread with not a hint of cheese.
£18.00. Really awful.

I ordered from Basilico 2 days back. The promised to deliver by 8:50pm. At 10pm with still no pizza in sight and after multiple phone calls—each unanswered—I gave up and requested a refund. At close to 11pm they told me the pizza was delivered. Clearly it was not. I asked for a refund again and was told to go take a walk by the guy on the line. Awful service, rude and appealing company. Stay away from them. They are frauds!

The new owners have really poor service , rude staff, awful pizza.
Ordered pizza online from the Islington branch.
Received 3 emails: 1confirmation email, 2 pizza on is way, 3 order completed.
After 30 mins of waiting, I call and the guy say sorry but they just received the order and will send it soon.
With 1h 30mins of delay I received the pizza at midnight: the wrong pizza, cold and uncooked .
I called back for the refund and the manager was screaming at me at the phone they don’t do refunds .

This was the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Floppy soggy base covered with non-description cheese. And that was all. I don’t even remember what I asked for but that was not it. Undercooked and dull. £18? Should have been 18p.

One of the few places I can get an authentic pizza that reminds me of Rome. Base is lovely - thin and crispy, the ingredients are really nice quality. I always go for the truffle pizza, my boyfriend has the Pepperoni. Size-wise the large is much bigger than Dominos and a similar price - you get what you pay for and it's my Friday treat to myself.

My partner and I have ordered several pizzas from here over the months - delivery is great pizza always hot and delicious crusty crusts and no stinting on ingredients - the fresh Basil used wafts around it’s all round great including the gluten free option

Yesterday I’ve ordered 2 x medium pizzas was really surprised that basilico pizza sizes have gotten much much smaller! The medium pizza used to 18’, now it’s barely 14’! I’m having difficulty to imagine the size of the small pizza! I don’t think this is a good business development!

Two months ago my family ordered two pizzas and two garlic pizza breads from the East Sheen branch. This set us back a hefty £45ish, but I am gf and am used to my orders being more, and thought maybe the price would be worth it for good quality, open-fire pizzas. I couldn't be more wrong. The crust on my gf pizza was so hard that, no joke, it left cuts in my mouth. It was by no means the tastiest gf base I've eaten either - Pizza Express gf pizzas are much better. The garlic pizza breads were also awful. There was no garlic on them that anyone could taste, they were also hard and over-cooked and the surface looked burnt in many places. My mum said it tasted burnt as well. The cheesey one was marginally better but I guess only because the addition of melted cheese made it less dry. For the price of these pizzas I would expect something better quality. This was my first, and definitely last, order from Basilico.

I order pizzas a few weeks ago. They turned up 90 mins late even though i had pre ordered hours before that to ensure i beat the rush. Tried and tried during the 90 mins to speak to the branch (East Sheen) to find out what was happening but no one answered the phone. In the end we gave up and went for fish and chips. Finally cold pizza arrived. I wrote 3 polite emails to the branch requesting a refund but never heard back. I used to really like this pizza place but after this terrible customer experience with no care for the customer i will have to look elsewhere. What a shame. Rob

- 2 hours later pizza turned up which we turned away as we had eaten something else given it was 9.30pm. They had not called
- spoke to restaurant next day and they said they had cancelled the payment as order was noted as not delivered
- 1 week later no refund and restaurant then declared they knew nothing about cancellation and needed to speak with Head Office
- several unanswered emails sent to Head Office and still no refund
