I had Jodie and Sofina following my case. They've been exceptional on timings, prompt email responses, and answered to all clarifying questions I had. They chased the seller solicitor, which was hard to get at times, and ensured that completion date was met.
Vey happy. Minor feedback would be around invoicing. I had to point out twice that I was not correctly invoiced, but again, very minor and they got that sorted out right away.

We had Rebecca & Lloyd assigned to us for our house purchase. Rebecca was absolutely stellar - always responsive & so warm when speaking on the phone. Every interaction with Bishopsgate was smooth & positive & they were super helpful especially as we were buying from abroad. Would 100% recommend!

We found Bishopsgate Law on a conveyancing comparison website. They were very reasonably priced (somewhere in the middle) and had positive reviews.

We were assigned to David Madams (Solicitor) and Debora Da Silveira (Conveyancer), and we were not disappointed. Our purchase transaction went smoothly - that's all we wanted.

Debora handled the communication and was brilliant. She responded to all our queries very quickly, and even after completion, when we had a few questions about the deed of the property, she got back to us swiftly, which was amazing.

We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We chose BishopsGate for the price but stayed for the good service. We've worked with them 3 times already, buying a property, selling the same property, and buying a new one. It was easier to have the same solicitors buying and selling at the same time as they had our info and we reduced having to call different people.

Amanda and Zain helped us a lot by explaining each step of the process. Amanda was patient with our barrage of questions and Zain was great moving things along with other solicitors and groups, doing tons for us at completion. They were both great!

The only thing keeping us from a 5/5 rating is that communication can be slow. To call anyone you need to go through a somewhat long-wait main line and talk for a while with a person that redirects you, in hopes that your solicitor picks up, and there is no direct way to get in touch faster besides emails.

We will likely use BishopsGate again when needed, and our property buying and selling experience - though long - was less stressful thanks to Amanda and Zain.

We used Bishopsgate Law for the purchase of our first home and our solicitors were David Madams and Debora Da Silveira. Debora kept us up to date with every stage of the process and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We would 100% recommend them if you are buying a house.

As first-time buyers, we wanted someone who could guide us through the process in a detailed and professional way.

Our conveyancer, Janine Prescott, was exactly what we were looking for. She was always on top of everything, proactively chasing enquiries with the sellers, answering all of our questions, and providing her professional opinion throughout.

I had a great experience with Bishopsgate Law, who I chose primarily because of their very competitive price but also because of many positive reviews. The initial setting up process was very efficient and straight-forward (as was their pricing). Amelia and Andrew guided a very nervous me with patience, helpfulness and understanding. Their approach was always professional, with excellent communication, keeping me well-informed with updates and clear explanations throughout our interactions. They made me feel well looked after. I would definitely use them again. :)

I did my research and I could not be more pleased with Bishopsgate Law. Jodie and Sofina were fantastic. I cannot praise them highly enough. They both were incredibly thorough, friendly, professional and I would recommend them to anybody who wants solicitors who work hard, efficiently and have high attention to detail. I was looking to purchase a leasehold flat, but I had to pull out, as it was brought to my attention some severely expensive major works to the roof required that I would be liable to pay for. So thankfully I was saved from getting myself into quite a nasty situation. I will absolutely use Bishopsgate again, as I now begin searching for another property to purchase. We selected Bishopsgate Law as they looked to be the highest rated conveyancer we could find in London.

We wanted a London-based conveyancer as it makes it easier to visit for handing over documents/signing as well as having direct access if anything goes wrong.
Turns out, the solicitor we were assigned wasn't in London.

Getting Bishopsgate Law to perform any action is like trying to draw blood from a stone. After checking in nearly a month after instructing them, we were told they hadn't started doing anything yet. Once finally confirming they had started we received zero communication for a further month. After our emails as well as the estate agent's emails fell on deaf ears, I called Bishopsgate Law daily to speak to our solicitor or to get an update. The reception told us the solicitor is not based in London so I can't visit. They did however promise us a call back each time, but those calls never came.
Once they finally responded. We had to keep correcting them about legal issues, such as them claiming a build over agreement for extensions wouldnt be needed if the extension was completed before 2007. Yet the document they themselves sent me stated the extension completed 2011. We ended up having to pull out of of the purchase entirely as after 4 months, not getting answers about basic things about the property, and not being able to reach our solicitor most of the time. It was clearly not going to go anywhere.
The only reason I haven't rated 1 star is the price of the service was adequate and they ended up refunding us at the end.

The Bishopsgate team were amazing from the start to finish with good communication. Anup constantly kept me updated since he took our project.
I would definitely comeback for any other projects or recommend my friends .

We've used Bishopsgate twice now to sell a house and requested Jodie specifically this time as she did such a great job on our last sale. The estate agents tried to push their in-house solicitors as they said this would make the sale faster, however, their in-house team was disorganised and caused issues for our buyers. In contrast, our experience was smooth and well organised. Jodie was ahead of the game every step of the way, kept us fully informed and chased the other solicitors to find out what was happening in the chain. I emailed her several times during the course of the sale and each time she got back to me within the hour. Service was excellent and I wouldn't use anyone else for buying or selling a house.

Sophie and Sonia were amazing. Fast, knowledgeable and so helpful. Can't recommend enough.

Rahul and Donna were Amazing. They made what is a stressful process relatively smooth. They helped me complete the purchase of my first buy-to-let. They had to work swiftly due to the tight timescales from the developer.
