Blacks - Aintree Reviews 

I went to Blacks to get my daughter a pair of walking boots. All the staff are so friendly when you walk in, making me feel comfortable. We went upstairs to the shoe section, where we met Vicky. She was great, really helpful helping us select the right boot and running back and forth making sure we got the right size boot too. Excellent customer service.

Went into the shop in Aintree yesterday to buy a waterproof jacket that they unfortunately didn't have in stock. Bought a Montane Hydron instead on a whim, and Grace said that if I changed my mind I could easily get a refund the following day.

After testing the jacket today and deciding it wasn't for me because it wasn't very breathable, I went back in the evening and Grace very kindly refunded my account even though I'd forgotten the receipt.

I decided on a Berghaus Maitland instead but that has yet to be tested.

Excellent customer service from the minute I walked in I was greeted I could not find what I was looking for. The young Girl came over. Asked me do I need any help She found what I was looking for. The manager came over. Said hello excellent service made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble

We were served by Vicky today, who could not do enough for us. We were choosing new walking boots, and she was very helpful. The other staff were great too.

We got some good bargains

We went in to look for a tent and was instantly greated by Adam . He was very quick to help as we had mentioned about getting a tent and not knowing which one. He was able to give us lots of information about different tents and which one would be the best fit. He really made our experience quick and easy.

Was after a pair of walking boots. Found some on the Black's website that suited. I phoned ahead and they were in stock. I saw saw Sean today. He was very helpful and attentive. Great price & experience
I will be back soon as the store was well stocked. Its nice to try items before buying, Black's Aintree make that very easy.

My daughter bought a four man tent which broke on first use. Returned to the Aintree, Liverpool store where the sales assistant explained that a broken tent pole did not constitute a faulty tent. Not only did he refuse to replace or refund but his manner was rude and condescending. Absolutely shocking from a company I previously regarded as reputable. I would avoid like the plague from now on.

The staff could not have been more helpful. I had to return my Berghaus walking boots due to them letting in water. Without hesitation they were replaced. Fantastic customer service.
