Thanks to Rich for looking after us today, so helpful with choosing our walking boots

Excellent service today from Sean, very helpful and offered us advice on the maintenance and care of our new boots, we brought cleaner and proof treatment to keep them in the best condition. Great salesman.

Popped in Blacks today for a pair of summer walking shoes. We were made very welcome by all staff and personally assisted by Katie who was very patient and helpful ensuring I got the right shoes for me. So greatful to be able to visit a actual store, try on different sizes and walk out with a pair of shoes I am very happy with.

I bought a very expensive pair of Scarpa Walking shoes 1 year and 4 months ago at the Bath Shop. These have started leaking when they certainly should not have. Today I took them back to the Salisbury shop, the Bath shop having closed, and showed them the shoes. They changed them for me without any quibbling at all. This is not Blacks fault at all just the shoes. Thank you to the lovely team at Blacks, Salisbury. What an excellent shop.

On the day I went to Blacks in Salisbury, Wiltshire Rich gave exceptional customer service and fantastic advice, I initially only went in to look and get an idea of what I might want. Because of the amazing advice, friendly and warm service and information that Rich and the rest of the crew, Max and James gave to me on the day I decided to purchase the item there and then. Rich pointed me in the direction of the best value for money items and allowed me to make my decision; at the same time advising which items He considered best for performance and reliability for my budget, with great added advice from Max and James I was able to make my final decision, I left happy with my purchase wanting to return again. 🙂

Rich in Salisbury couldn’t have done more to help me out. I was looking for a walking shoe and he pointed me in the right direction. After choosing a couple and after a few flights of stairs later, alas, not in my size, however on the last trip he came with an alternative in my size which was bang on, and in price!!Cheers again Rich, Paul

We were somewhat baffled by the wide range of waterproof coats. Rich guided us to the best coat for our budget. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Last time I brought water bottle and bag . Water bottle was damaged when I checked at home they told me to visit for refund or exchange. If I go to exchange that water bottle it waste my time as well as travel cost so be careful when you buy they display damaged items. 💔

First class company who honour their guarantee and are prepared to go beyond it where appropriate - such as with a faulty pair of expensive Meindl Kansas GTX walking boots which Blacks agreed to replace even though they were nearly 2 months out of warranty

Salisbury Store, served by Rich who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and available to advise in an unobtrusive manner. We would certainly be happy to be served by Rich in the future.

Went to buy a jacket today, and wasn’t quite sure in the sizing, but a guy called Rich was really helpful, giving tips on how to choose the right fit. would definitely recommend.
