I came in today to purchase a tent. I was greeted at the door by the friendly manager and said I wished to purchase a tent.
Jade served me and assisted me with my purchase providing good knowledge and Exelent customer service experience. jade also provided me with a leaflet containing tent care information.
She was friendly and I look forward to shopping at Sheffield blacks again.
As I left the store the manager said a friendly goodbye

Emily was great at helping me to choose a replacement pair of walking boots. I told her my requirement & left it to her it, she nailed it bringing out two pairs one of which, North Face, was perfect for me. Emily was very friendly, attentive & helpful.

Rio went above and beyond to help us today in the Sheffield store. She gave us lots of time and was very patient as we checked our cycle rack product that there were no bits missing, after it had been delivered by Evri quite badly damaged. Thank you for excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble for her. 😀

I had such a lovely time at Blacks and it was with the worker called Mollie, she helped me answer all questions even if some of them was silly. She’s a polite lady and made my experience in the shop worth while.

My experience was good, staff were friendly, Emily in particular was very helpful.

visited Your Sheffield the more store on entering the store I was greeted by a lovely member of staff Emily I was enquiring about a cadac barbecue. Emily gave me all the information I needed to know and more she was very knowledgeable and helpful I ended up buying one . Emily also let me use a trolley to take it to my car which was Very much appreciated. Emily went above and beyond excellent customer service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The next day I returned back to the store and I purchased a smaller barbecue the member of staff that helped me again was very knowledgeable and helpful Rio 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 . Rio offered to help carry the barbecue round to the car for me which again I was very much appreciated. The staff at this store are extremely helpful very knowledgeable very friendly I will definitely be returning because of the customer service I have received.

Such a lovely team! Thank you so much to Stevie, Maddie and Rio who were so helpful and kind. They helped my family choose a Tent and was able to give us all the information we need and tips as well. Came to pick up a tent Ribble 3 Eurohike tent and was very happy with my purchase, which was very nicely priced!

Fantastic service and help and advice from the Moor shop. I needed to update some of the camping equipment for our scout group and Adam was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find the right replacements. He really knows his stuff and is a credit to the store.

Had a really great experience dealing with a staff member named Adam. Each time I have been into store he's been a great help . He helped me set up a osprey backpack that wasn't bought from the store due to not stocking the item . He is extremely knowledgeable and offers great advice on products.
You can tell he has a passion for camping and walking outside of his work environment. He is a credit to your chain of stores . Shame not all staff members in store share his attitude to serving customers.

Fantastic service, the big lad with the beard has so much knowledge of the great outdoors.
Must be nice to know the best equipment for me needs and didn't try to rip me off with more experience items that I didn't need. Experienced staff is essential in a store like this and these guys have it in spades.
This is my go to store from now on .

Pathetic customer service!! I was at sheffield city centre store today, and purchased three iteams, the person at check out was way too rude, making faces and ignoring my general questions.
Thank god they are closing this store. With the current attitude of staff they were not able sustain long. Me and my husband always had bad customer experience in this store.
Overall the store offer quite good deals esp on shoes

What a fantastic customer service we received today in Blacks, The Moor, Sheffield from Emily. My son is going to Kenya on a planned trip and Emily went above and beyond with helping us with queries and expert advice on what we needed etc. nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff in store are equally great and we’ve only been twice but each time has been the experience has been the same - extremely helpful, offering suggestions and product info. All of them are assets to your company. Thanks so much!

Both the staff members I delt with made transphobic comments to my face, loudly, in front of about a dozen customers. One with a look of disgust on their face, one with a smile.

Adam helped my family for about half an hour. He brought us several different pairs of walking boots and gave practical advice, all with friendliness and good humour. Explained various options available. We came away with perfectly fitting boots that saved us quite a bit compared with other shops, including online. Clearly the staff get on and know what they are talking about! Says 'closing down', but seems to be a rebrand from Blacks to GoOutdoors. Thanks, Adam!
