Still waiting for a refund from a trade…
Still waiting for a refund from a trade order placed 3rd December for an item that was out of stock. Many promises that their finance team will action it but never do. Chased many times and still nothing. Will now have to raise the query with my bank. did not expect would have to do this.

Just to clarify, I can see the December order refund has already been processed through shopify. The outstanding refund related to the 9th February order, and I can confirm this has also been actioned. It should be showing in your account shortly, if it hasn’t already.
For future reference, as a trade customer we can also arrange for any out-of-stock items to be credited against your next order if that’s easier — but of course we’re always happy to process a direct refund if preferred.
Please let me know if the funds don’t appear and I’ll investigate straight away.

Frustrating situation made right 🥰 ordered a set from the complaint months ago and it never arrived. Had tires to contact the firm with no avail but as soon as they realised still not received my order they could not have been more helpful and apologetic. Yasmin was lovely and apologised, refunded me the lost set and sent out a beautiful apology set to my son. He’s very happy and faith has been restored in the form after a whacky start. Will order again and look forward to sending some people gifts from the company in the future. Thank you

Regular orderer, first time reviewer
We order regularly from Bomb cosmetics, namely their mystery soap slices. I would take full advantage of their bath bombs, but unfortunately, I have no bath.
Despite having weirdly sensitive skin - I react to products randomly with little rhyme or reason - I don't have an issue with their soaps. They're very rich and creamy, and don't dry out my skin. I've even converted my fiance to their soap.
Obviously, when purchasing the mystery boxes, you don't know what you're going to get, but for us that's part of the fun. It's like a soap lucky dip. There are some we love - mango ranks as my absolute favourite so far, the sea one is my fiances - some we were generally content with, and so far, only one we have really disliked. We got the piano keys soap in our most recent box, and I genuinely don't understand how anyone can enjoy the smell, it smells like chemicals used in a mechanics garage - I genuinely wondered if something had gone wrong in the batch, because I can't believe it was meant to smell like that. We also got a little free gift in our last order, which was very appreciated. It was a very sweet, llama print, drawstring bag, that will become my shopping bag for my wheelchair, as I can slip it over the handles.
The items are always packaged really well, with cute sustainable packaging, minus the packaging for the soaps themselves - why aren't we packing the soaps in greaseproof paper, or paper bags? They really don't need the single use plastic wrapping, plus it's a nightmare to get off. Cute paper packaging would seem a lot cuter and more appropriate for the brand, too. Overall, though, I highly recommend the Bomb Cosmetics brand and products, and will keep ordering for them. The quality is on par with another well known high street brand, in some cases better in my opinion, but for more reasonable prices and with free delivery over £30. Smells great, cleans great, and feels like a wee indulgent treat for yourself every shower or bath time. 😊

The wax melts are great!
The wax melts are great! I’ve been using them every night over the Christmas/New Year period and I’m very impressed.
The raspberry ripple, the pomegranate & the cosmo cocktail are my favourites.
Visiting family & friends have commented on how nice my home smells, and even a delivery driver complimented me on how nice it smelt when I opened the front door.
So I’ve ordered more! They really are lovely.

Beware of substitutions!
I've been a customer of Bomb for over 10 years, but I was shocked to find they "substitute" items in your order if they don't have what you've actually ordered! I opened a parcel today to find someone had scribbled out what I'd ordered on the form and written something else as one thing I'd ordered (for a gift for someone else) was out of stock.
I've had no emails about this, no one in customer service had called or contacted me in any way to just quickly check what I'd like to do, or to offer me a refund on that item.
I've emailed a picture of the handwritten scribble over today.
I've seen on other reviews that people have been asked to return the substitution before getting the correct item, even though it was a deliberate and cheeky action by the company. How lazy of the packing team!
I expect my order to either be fulfilled or refunded and I won't be going out of my way to return something I didn't want or order.

Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration this has caused — especially after being a loyal customer for so many years. We really do appreciate your continued support, and I completely understand why this experience would be disappointing.
Normally, our team will call or email customers to check if they would like a substitution when an item is out of stock. However, in the lead-up to Christmas, we unfortunately found that many customers weren’t able to get back to us in time, which then resulted in orders missing important dates such as birthdays and Christmas gifts. To avoid customers being left without a present altogether, we made the decision to substitute with the closest possible alternative when time was extremely tight.
Even so, you should absolutely have been informed, and I’m very sorry that you weren’t. As an apology, we also include an extra free gift whenever a substitution is made, but I completely understand that this doesn’t replace clear communication.
We’d like to make this right for you. If you can share your order number, I’ll be more than happy to refund the substituted item straight away — and of course, you’re welcome to keep the item free of charge. There’s no need to return anything you didn’t order.
Thank you again for letting us know, and I hope we can restore your confidence in us.

I order on a monthly basis and no where else compares! Always exceptional bath products, smell beautiful, make water soft and helps ease skin conditions. Couldn’t speak more highly of the company, always give little extras if things are sold out or if they need to send an alternative. Will continue being a customer, thank you! Only thing I would change would be to always get my favourite bath melt which sells out quickly… I guess that tells you how nice it is.

Great Products and a Great Team.
I’ve been searching for Christmas gifts for family recently and came across Bomb Cosmetics who specialise in bath bombs and soaps etc. The website was offering a myriad of options, so I choose a trio. When the gifts arrived there was an error, which they immediately rectified and told me to keep the error item. Then I ordered some ‘Flawsome Products’ (items that didn’t quite make the top grade) at a hugely reduced price and they are fantastic. Well -done all of you who are working SO hard to achieve great products - Keep up the good work.

Great value and service
Ordered one of the mega bundles of 15 bombs and was surprised when they arrived that they were all current lines (some are even in the new in section). All smell great and are fantastic quality. Really really pleased. I did have to email as I had a slight issue (completely my fault) and got a really quick response and sorted the issue out. Will be buying more for Christmas presents.
