Bonjour Brigitte Reviews 

Brigitte has a great on-line program. The weekly grammar, reading and live conversation supplement the on-line app. My husband has taken other French courses, and this is the only one that really test our ability to speak and have French conversations! The Bonjour Brigitte program even offers French immersion vacation trips and we look forward to that in the future. I highly recommend Bonjour Brigitte to anyone who wants to learn French.

Brigitte is a friendly, kind, informed, excitable, highly educated teacher in her many professions… patient with new learners and actively, enthusiastically encourages them to improve themselves, learn the French material. She’s smiles all around!

I do not feel rushed, or shamed for taking things at my own pace, the experience is very comfortable.

In addition to practicing with the instructor at the "Conversational Cafe," you get lifetime access to the videotaped lessons and homework printouts. I takes me considérable effort to memorize anything these days, so being able to revisit the lessons as often as I need, at a time that's convenient for me, is a real plus. The lessons provide you with homework questions for practice, but also provide the answers for memorizing. And, Brigitte is an incredibly patient, supportive and encouraging instructor.

Brigitte makes learning fun! She ensures a supportive and inclusive environment and is always upbeat, positive and encouraging with the students. Her commitment to ensure students have an opportunity to practice French in the real world by organizing several trips to French speaking countries during the year is an added bonus! I have really enjoyed Brigitte’s training, my pronunciation is worlds better than when I started and my confidence in speaking and reading is vastly improved.

I honestly credit so much of my French learning to Brigitte, the environment she fosters, and the absolutely fantastic guest instructors and students she brings to each class.

Her program is incredibly well-rounded; you get a ton of on-demand classes that are user-friendly and relevant for every level and lifestyle. Whether you want to learn based on educational topic, interest field, or level, you can find the perfect lesson to turn on while you relax or are on the go.

The real heart of the program for me lies in the live classes. The Conversation Cafés and Groovy Grammar days are always a highlight of my day, and they're well-structured and staggered throughout the week so even though you're getting hours of live-instruction, you never feel overwhelmed. She also seems to take a lot of thought into keeping everything familiar enough so you can guage your own improvement while also always having fresh material to make every day exciting. Whether it's stories, articles, debates, roleplays, or current events, every minute is meticulously organized to keep you entertained and engaged.

The learning environment is also a real triumph. Some people are mainstays, others come in and out throughout the year, some are just dropping by, but every class achieves the same thing; people from all around the world, coming from different backgrounds, native languages, and cultures, all enthusiastically supporting each other over a shared passion for learning.

I am extremely grateful for what this program has done for my French learning, but also equally grateful for the small spurts of guaranteed joy it injects into my life when I log on, and cannot recommend it enough.

There are wonderful websites and Youtube videos on the internet. But none compare to live (albeit via Zoom) conversation with a teacher in a group class.

Bonjour tout le monde! I wanted to leave this review to tell you how much I enjoyed Bonjour Brigitte yesterday. We worked with Jared who was a most wonderful professor assistant. He was so extremely friendly and easy to work with. I really enjoyed how patient he was. Nervous at first, but he just made all my worries subside. I hope everyone gets to work with him.

Bonjour Brigitte is a quite complete French language learning program. Brigitte is patient, attentive, very thorough with each lesson in order to heighten the student's comprehension - answering the "what, how and why" of the language rules.
Mastery of any language takes much time. Brigitte is there with you every step of the way. However, you must do your part to study regularly.

Personally, the only reason I've given Brigitte a 4 out of 5 stars...is because I would like her to put more pressure on me (as my teacher and coach) to learn more of the verb conjugations
faster! This way, I can feel more confident to navigate the various verbs and verb tenses more freely in conversation. Brigitte is the best type of teacher for such anticipated development.

I am not through learning with her. French is not a quick language to learn fluently.
And I will join her on one of her many upcoming travel itineraries where she is the Tour Guide. I feel like I have a new best friend. She makes everyone feel special and comfortable in their abilities!she meets you wherever you are- a beginner, an intermediate or fluent. One can always gain from more experience.

I have wanted to learn a new language for a while and started with a private tutor a few years ago. It was expensive and did not work out. Brigitte’s system is reasonably priced, and flexible as I can study when it’s convenient for me. The lessons are not too long, but cover the material enough plus the supplemental materials help reinforce each lesson. Additionally, the weekly zoom sessions add another layer of practice and support, plus I have met people from other parts of the country trying to learn French just like me! It’s reassuring to know that they struggle too, but we keep trying. Brigitte and her team are good teachers patient and kind, they are committed, and very encouraging. It will take a while to master this new language, but I am off to a great start. I have progressed considerably since I started about 7 or 8 weeks ago. I highly recommend Bonjour Brigitte.

I have been attending classes with Bonjour Brigitte for 9 months,WOW. It does not seem that long at all, the journey has been fun. One has the opportunity to participate in sessions up to 3x/week. The sessions vary from reading passages/books to grammar. She has recorded lessons covering all aspects of the language, grammar, verb conjugation, buying items in a store, counting, and many more. Each lesson is terrific and very clear. The thing I like most is that learning a new language is intimidating. One doesn't want to look like a fool. YOU WILL NOT be made a fool in this program. You will be encouraged to speak and will be constructively corrected. It's all about learning and listening. The more french you hear from different voices, the more easily it will be for you to understand and speak yourself. I highly recommend the program.

I love her class she is wonderful person as teacher and I would take the class over again and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn French!! Anyone who wants to learn French learn with Bonjure Brigitte!!

I would not recommend learning with her because her pronunciation is horrible. She is selling herself off as a native speaker but she clearly is not.

I had the opportunity to work with Brigitte from Bonjour Brigitte on a professional level. She takes great pride in operating a world class boutique style french learning/coaching program. As an independent consultant I had the opportunity to see various students achieve maximum french learning results even with little or no prior french speaking experience. She is a real person, and she provides french speaking coaching results at the highest level. Well worth any waiting list and or monetary investment.
