Quality does not match price
The boot guard was ok but not of sufficient quality for the price.
The bedding wasn't worth the price and appeared to have been cut off a roll. The edges weren't bound at all which may result in fraying.
The guard would be better delivered flat rather than rolled.
The express delivery charge is excessive and there is a 20 pound charge to collect

Hello
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your purchase. The Boot Bedding may shed a little during transit but this is minimal and will not affect the functionality of the product. The edges should not fray.
With regards to the postage options, express delivery is available at a higher premium for those needing the items quicker than normal. There is a £20 fee for express collection. Standard is collection is free of charge.
We are sorry that your order did not meet your expectations on this occasion and we will use your feedback to refine and improve where possible.

Don’t buy the bedding !
I have bought the rigid boot liners twice for Volvo and they have been perfect
With this and value for money in mind, I purchased a fabric boot ‘bedding’
Which was not inexpensive, it was quite expensive over £40
It’s literally a piece of thick cloth which I could’ve bought from a market stall for £2
I’m very disappointed.

Hello
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your purchase this time. Our Boot Bedding is cut to size for the VersaLiner it is designed for and is part of our non slip range. We offer it in several different styles and it is machine washable. We are sorry that you felt that disappointed with it on this occasion and we will use your feedback to improve things where we can.
Kind regards

We have a golden retriever and always…
We have a golden retriever and always use a boot liner but the Velcro sides drop down and our white fur ball drops his hair all around the boot
The boot buddy is rigid and covers all 4 sides with no movement to allow the fur to go anywhere. It’s easy to fit, easy to wipe down. It was pricier than the previous ones we’ve used but saves hours of cleaning or money spent on valeting

Boot Buddy for e5008 and dogs
Ordered a boot buddy for our e5008 and it’s perfect! We got a Black Friday extra of mat finish and edging as well, so it looks great. With multiple dogs we opted for the dog bed liner and it’s great! So soft and comfy with a great backing. Already recommended to my friends with the same car. For everyone with dogs (especially large breeds like ours who love to get muddy and shed constantly) this is a must to save your boot! Hairs stick to it too so it’s easy to hoover! 100% recommend and if we change cars I’ll be placing another order in a heart beat!

Poor fit … split back for folding seats…
Poor fit … split back for folding seats sits too high and one of the press studs to connect the floor and back sections do not line up and cannot be used to complete the connection. Very expensive for the quality of the product.
This item was bought as a present so I do not have access to obtain photographs now and little point contacting Boot Buddy after the fact as I couldn’t take the gift back from the recipient ….. the recipient just had to live with it.
The other point I didn’t mention in the original review was that I ordered the Matt option and in my opinion this is still quite shiny and the recipient of the gift has had to put a dog mattress in the boot to stop his dogs from slipping around! This item with the extra features cost £208 and I bought an original Renault boot liner for £108 which is much much better quality.
AND what is most annoying is the Boot Buddy response to my trust pilot review is a generic one that basically doesn’t take account of the information provided!!!
I am unlikely to buy from them again …. their marketing of the product is far better than the product itself.

Hello
We would like to respond to some of the points you have raised in your amended review. We are sorry that you felt that the initial response was generic but this is simply not the case. The response was apologetic and simply requested that you contact us with the issues so that we could address them.
We recommend our non slip mats for both finishing options when ordering and this information is available on our website. We appreciate that this purchase was a gift but the terms and conditions of how we resolve issues remains the same.
We apologise again that you were unhappy with the purchase on this occasion but we hope you can understand that we could not resolve an issue unless informed of it at the time.

Great product
Great product, protects the boot well from dog hair. My only criticism is that there isn’t a cut out for the boot light which is an inconvenient omission, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Hello
Thank you for the feedback. We tend to avoid making cut outs where possible as these can make room for debris and dirt to escape through. However, these can be made on request if the vehicle is here for our measure and fit service. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I visited the Guys at their workshop to for a pre arranged appointment to get a Boot liner fitted professionally.
I was was met by Christel who discussed with me me exact requirements including, bumper protector, rubber boot matting and the style of pet protection carpet that I preferred.
Anthony was then introduced to me and he spent the next couple of hours making everything I requested the from the various sheets of material’s needed.
Very happy with the finished product, well done.

Really impressed with the boot buddy
Really impressed with the boot buddy, despite being initially slightly sceptical. Easy to put together, well made and so far is doing a great job in the boot. Easy to clean, is withstanding 2 spaniels jumping in and out and is far better than the material heavy duty liners we’ve previously used.

We have a BMW X1 and it fits perfectly in the boot. Used on several occasions for taking the dog out for walks and it does exactly what is required, dog hair and mud contained and easily clean up.
