Boutique Retreats website was easy to use and booking Laurel Cottage online was quick and easy.
The photographs for the cottage were absolutely stunning online and in real life the cottage didn’t disappoint and lived up to our expectations.
I would definitely use Boutique Retreats in the future and would recommend them highly.

Boutique Retreats always has a superb range of properties to choose from and having now stayed in 7 different properties, it's noticeable that they all have the same 'vibe'. Our most recent trip to Lanherne in Cornwall was enjoyable (despite the wet Easter weather!). The property was in a beautiful setting, it was clean, everything worked and well specc'd, with a plethora of board games to keep the family amused when it was too wet to go outside. The owner was really helpful throughout too.

Our first time booking through Boutique Retreats but won’t be our last. Great personal customer service. When they became aware just 3 days before our holiday of building work taking place next door to a cottage we had booked, they contacted us and gave us options to keep our booking, take a refund or find somewhere else. We chose the latter and they were so helpful in finding a lovely alternative. Stayed in Rocksalt in Moushole which was absolutely stunning! Will definitely be back to Rocksalt and can highly recommend Unique Retreats.

Another excellent stay in a cottage through boutique retreats. Apple Blossom Cottage and the Granary are both beautiful. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Amazing grounds to explore so great for the dog, some lovely views of the Devon countryside. Fab hosts (Gary and Liz) discreet but available if needed. Very helpful and friendly.

After selecting my preferred option I made an online booking, then waited three days for confirmation of price and availability. This emailed confirmation was followed a couple of hours later by an email advising ‘This offer is expiring, book now.’ - so I did, paying the requisite deposit. A short time later, the booking was confirmed, again by email
Later that day, I find yet another email from Boutique Retreats, this one cancelling my booking, stating I’d been given an incorrect price. It went on to say I could rebook at a higher price, which was £2,000 more for one week. However, as a goodwill gesture, they were offering to knock £30 off, for their error and had held on to my deposit awaiting my decision. My argument that a contract had been entered into and deposit paid, fell on deaf ears. I’ve now rebooked with a rival and will not be viewing this company’s site again.

Louise’s house is utter perfection. As three friends who live all over the UK it was the perfect place to celebrate our 40th birthdays together. Louise was so warm and helpful, which made us feel like we were staying at a friends house, rather than a rental. All the small touches from having Netflix to the Elemis bathroom treats to the surprise hamper full of local food essentials - we really couldn’t have hoped for any more. It really was perfect and I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

Amazing property! It immediately feels like home and has everything you could want in a Cotswolds getaway. All of the family had a great time and we will definitely be coming back.

Consistently had great experiences booking with Boutique Retreats. This was my 4th booking with them over a 3 year period. Lovely cottages, great hosts, easy booking and both helpful and attentive customer service. Great stuff!

I loved the efficiency of the booking process. Lesley & Neil made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble.

I have used this company a couple of times now. Each time they and the properties they rent have been excellent. Recently stayed in the most beautiful property in the Cotswolds - Dover's Rise - highly recommend. The company are helpful and competent in every aspect.

The accommodation was beautiful check in was easy we was greeted by a beaut christmas tree it was clean bright and the perfect cosy house. (wish I lived there) haha

Beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, luxurious yet homely.

We had an amazing stay at Lowartha, south of Falmouth. The setting is idyllic, remote and wild, while the immediate surroundings are beautifully landscaped. The property is luxurious and cosy at the same time and although we had mostly good weather, the rainy days were spent reading in front of the wood burner looking out over the Cornish woodland. Bliss. We relaxed the minute we arrived and didn’t want to leave, can’t rate it highly enough.

Boutique retreats is the place to go if you want a boutique experience.

First booking with Boutique Retreats. Not impressed!
Very disappointed that the photos on their website of The Old Workshop in Newlyn were not accurate!
Very misleading. We were not informed prior to our arrival that the property had been redecorated ! I would have cancelled if I’d known .
I booked this property because of the white, light gorgeous interiors photos of the scandi inspired living room . Sadly now a dark dingy room with a cream / rust marble coffee table exactly the opposite from the listings photos and descriptions !!
Thankfully the bedrooms and kitchen have been spared the make over !
The house was very clean however and very warm.
. The house was in quite a run down part of Newlyn . ( As mentioned by the owners in the guest info on arrival !!)
With parking 10 mins walk away. ( £20 for the week )
Will book in future with Air bnb as I think these issues would have been mentioned in their guests reviews.

Boutique Retreats is one of my go to websites when looking to book a UK country getaway. The booking process is easy and staff are quick to respond to email queries. All properties listed are of a high standard so no time is wasted looking through pages of average properties!

We wrote a review for ‘Oyster’ in Padstow. We stayed in August. The review was fair and balanced with both positive & negative feedback. It was never published. I contacted BR and they informed me that ALL reviews appear on their website. This is simply not true. Do not trust the reviews they are doctored with only the positive being published. It’s October…still no review (but a positive review for someone staying in September has appeared, surprise!). We feel deceived, it means we would not recommend the company or ever use them again. Do not trust them. Beware.
