I ordered a steam mop obviously someone returned as it had bent pins scuffed cable and dirty mop head have sent back and to date cannot get an answer about a new replacement service is slack no follow up still waiting

Both me and my husband feel tricked over their pricing. We saw thermos flask for $57. Thats the label on shelf and then another half price large flyer saying 50% off all flasks, so go to counter to pay and its $57, I said meant to be half price, they say it is half, no where did we see the flask was originally $114 anywhere on the shelf. Same thing on chopping board, shelf price is $35 and large flyer says 50% off but they are charging $35 for it, no where did I see it was originally $70. I didnt buy either item. Many people will be tricked as this is not how any shop advertises a special, you need to see the full price. They have changed there pricing system as they were not like this before. It's a real rip off now to trick you.

Placed an online order paying the additional amount to do a same day click and collect. Promptly received an email stating item would not be able to be collected same day. Couldn't reply to email to request a refund. Had to fill out an online form which then auto replied stating it would be dealt with in approximately 48 hours. So had to call customer service phone line, long wait and not able to select the required option. Eventually got through, explained situation and requested refund which they would do but will take up to 5 days to get my money back! Why offer this service if it can't be done? Such a frustrating waste of time.

I have made my order 7 weeks ago, absolutely no update, no more emails. I am going to ask for a refund

Customer service is non-existent. Too busy talking to other staff while you wait at the counter. No please or thankyou. Won't be back.

Ordered online, took the money out of my account and then told me the “payment didnt go through” called customer support and got absolutely no help at all. so ive just lost my last $70 trying to buy a birthday present awesome

DO NOT BUY ONLINE - you won't get what you ordered or your money back. You will get an a lot of hassle and frustration.
Absolutely disgusting customer service. I'll omit the first part of the saga for brevity but it has essentially taken over 6 weeks (to date) to get refunded for an order that was initially stated to be fulfilled and then advised that, actually, they couldn't provide all the items ordered - once the majority of the order was on its way and useless without the parts they couldn't supply. Returning items was an absolute rigmarole - order numbers not existing, items having to be returned to 4 individual stores etc. Customer service is ridiculously slow - allow a week for email replies. I'm still waiting for an outstanding $4 refund and for any decent response from Briscoes.
They only get 1 star as I can't give 0. This review will be sent to them but I very much doubt it will have any effect. I once wrote a review on their website for mugs that cracked when you put hot water in them - it didn't get approved for publishing!

Will never order online instore again. Was not told the product had to be sent from Australia. Took 3 weeks to arrive at the courier depot. And the courier company was a total joke too. Item sat at depot for nearly a month despite 6 calls and several forms. No longer required product wen it finally arrived as it had been ordered 2 months earlier. The whole process was an utter nightmare. Never again

Very disappointed, I thought Briscoes was better than this. Now over a month since I ordered an item online. Tracking number doesn't work. They have no idea where the item is, blame the 'supplier". repeatedly tell me they'll call back and don't.

Real rubbish service , got sucked into buying a pan via their click and collect charged a premium for the below average service to find I had to line up behind 30 odd people with poorly managed tills , no dedicated click and collect station or till like say Woolworths , what’s the point of Briscoe Albany rubbish service when I can just go to the store get the item off the shelf and line up behind 30 odd people and not pay the click collect fee !!!!

Ordered 5/1/25. Called Briscoes to ask where are my two pillows. Got told they are coming from Australia... misleading advertising I feel. Called Briscoes 20/1 to ask what's happening as tracking says still waiting for Aramax to pick up. I asked for refund and got told they will put in urgent request to see where my order is..still no follow up or refund.... absolutely disgusting. Its 25/1 now and silence from Briscoes. Will on principal get small claims involved if I have to.

My ironing board took 33 days to arrive!
Ordered 22nd December arrived 23rd January.
My ironing board apparently being oversized was returned to Aramex the couriers as they do not deliver oversized to rural addresses in Kaikoura.
I was in ChCh so popped into Briscoes Langdons Rd to pick one up, Three times front counter called for a person to help me, no one came so I went home. In the end the parcel was sent to another address and I had to go pick it up.

Ordered from the online range, paid for 3-5 days delivery time frame. Day 5 hadnt received a tracking number. Message briscoes and they just blame the supplier taking no ownership and said it could be upto 10 days but i paid for 3-5? Finally got a tracking number but it didnt work and still had no idea when delivery would be. Eventually arrived in seperate deliveries so couldn't use till it all arrived. Kept chasing but there communication is terrible, they reply 2 days later. I wrote in my email that i would expect refund for the delivery cost, which wasnt even acknowledged. I wouldnt bother ordering online at briscoes, they are making unrealistic promises of delivery. Its actually made me want to avoid shopping there in general.

they can improve by not selling cheap products pretending to be expensive!
I bought some sheets from Briscoes, first time on the bed heaps of pulling!!!! I have a video of all the bits coming off the sheets.... and it's yuck!!!!

Placed an online order for dining chairs, waited ages, only a few turned up and then they cancelled the rest of the order as they didn't actually have that number of the chairs in the country. spent ages going back and forth and eventually they found another one but still not the right quantity. they wouldn't offer any further discounts or warranty. Now most of the chairs wobble and feel like the backrest part is coming away from the seat part. Poor quality product and terrible customers service. AVOID!

Placed 2 orders online, 29th December order number 27625225 2nd order 30th December order number 27914656. It is now the 8th January and still have not received. Sent an email 2 days ago requesting an update. Have not received a reply. I am now currently on the phone to the Briscoes 0800 number. The computerized message stated I was in an 8 minute queau. 40 minutes later I am still in the queau!!! Very disappointed. Confirmation emails for both orders stated I would receive a follow up email when items have been dispatched, along with tracking details. This was not received. Certainly will not be ordering from briscoes online ever again. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have experienced such shoddy service. Lesson learnt. Note deliveries should take between 3-5 days non rural. I am auckland based!!!!

I'd give this business a zero rating if it was an option. And I should have checked their reviews especially regarding their click & Collect process because it's the worst I've ever experienced. And I do a lot of online ordering but never have I had this happen to me before. Similar to a couple of reviews listed I too thought click & Collect would be a faster option but alas I'm still waiting over a week now. I understand due to the holidays & sale periods there has been a high volume of sales causing a breakdown in their system but to keep giving a generic response to all my enquiries & to only offer the solution of a refund is poor service behaviour. After numerous phone calls,online enquiries & emails I get an email reply today with another generic response telling me I now have to wait another 5 to 7 business days for my order. I can see the items are available at another local store & I mention this to them previously, their response is I should cancel my order & go to that store to purchase them. Will I still get the said items at the discounted offer that I initially ordered online? I guess not because the item is no longer on sale. Disappointed & frustrated is an understatement of how I feel about dealing with this company right now.
