We arrived boat was ready. Usual efficient handover.
We had Fair Entrepreneur 1 for 4, we were not disappointed. Plenty of room to store things and very comfortable. Huge rear shower with plenty of hot hot in the mornings for a shower if wanted. Easy to handle and impressive to look at.
The holiday was fantastic, good weather and an excellent cruiser.
We only had one problem! 10nights just wasn't long enough. Well done to all atNBD

We found everything was really professional.
The staff were great and friendly.
The apartment was well equipped and very clean.
The bed was comfy and the view of the river was great, both from the balcony and the dining table.

From booking to picking up our goodie bag to running through our welcome on the boat-we love this company. All staff are friendly, the booking system is straight forward and the boat handover process is seamless. It was our second year and we’ve already booked for next year!

Great boat, great reception/familiarisation service, good on-line preview videos, great staff teams, a fantastic customer experience.

Lovely boat. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Everybody we met was so friendly and always willing to help especially when mooring the boat, which is by far the most stressful part. Found some lovely quiet moorings away from everywhere. We learnt huge amounts about boat handling and became much more confident as the week progressed. We will definitely be back!

The boat was very clean, and the welcome pack was a very nice touch. The handover process was quick and the boat was ready before time. The boat was well equipped and we didn’t have any problems with it during our week on board.

Friendly staff, lovely boat

Their customer service was spot on, we had a problem and they were there in seconds to solve problem.
The one problem they could not solve was the car park is covered with largest stones not compatible with mobility scooters or wheelchairs.

A beautiful maintained apartment, fresh and bright, everything you need for a pleasant holiday.
Only comment is shower mat could be bigger, very small compared to shower cubicle, for older people a grab rail near shower entrance would be massive help.
All staff from cleaners to office extremely polite and helpful and cheerful bunch of people.

lovely house in a great position, ideal for family. having its own moorings was a bonus. the reason we give 4 stars and not 5 was the standard of cleaning was poor, there was litter under tables and chairs from the previous occupants it looked like someone done a quick wiz round and that was it,

We always use NBD and love their boats and their service. We had Fair President and it’s a fantastic boat, spacious and well equipped, manoeuvres well and is quiet… until the water pump kicks in, it’s really really loud!

This is the first time we have stopped in Cordon Rouge Cottage 4. as I usually hire a cruiser. Cordon Rouge Cottage 4 had plenty of space, comfortable, had numerous kitchen equipment with helps. However very enjoyable stay, even the fishing was very good. I have booked same cottage for next year.

Second visit this year

First class service from everyone connected with the company, from correspondence before our holiday, checking in, boarding, engineer’s response when we thought we had a problem (we didn’t), and check out.
We are frequent visitors to the Broads and have used other boatyards in the past, but NBD has impressed us, so that we will look to book with them in the future.

The handover was smooth, staff were excellent, with a shout out to Liam, the service engineer who sorted a couple of problems for us.

The boat was good and suited us. We did encounter a few rough days but mainly cruised in bad weather but hey, what do you expect in the middle of September and had packed accordingly.

We did have a few nice days where we were able to enjoy the boat at its best.

Lovely holiday and will return.

Another great week on a lovely boat, great customer service. 5th time with Norfolk Broads Direct.

We enjoyed our cruising along the broads but there are just not enough places to moor up. I would hate to be on the broads in peak season. There are too many boats for the available infrastructure. The numbers need to be limited or more services provided. We would not return because of this. It felt like an unfriendly place for tourists and that you were constantly playing a game of musical chairs so that if you did get a mooring part way through a day, you dare not move in case you couldn’t find anywhere later on. Speaking to long term cruisers, even they said that it’s changed and everything is so much more expensive with charges imposed for water etc.
