My honest opinion of buddy loans is top class staff they never make you feel stupid they try hard to get you a loan all I can say is a big thank you to you all brilliant

Absolutely shameful.
I've been very ill recently and short of breath after explaining this in an email and asking for a payment holiday which I was told I couldn't have, I've now had to contact them because of threatening emails with debt collection and extra charges. They apparently only have one email from me but I have screenshot other and sent them to c. E. O, apparently they're above the FCA and don't have to give payment holidays and I can't see anywhere where it says I have to provide them with a bank statement to prove I'm not getting any money?! Which is what I've been asked to do today on a phone call. No compassion whatsoever and happy to phone constantly and email to harass but not respond to emails with genuine concerns I had last month about how they would help customers!

I'm only giving 2 stars right now because I'm in the middle of my application. I applied and gave all the details of my guarntor. I was asked by text to fast track by calling them which I did the following morning.

I called 3 times and each waited over 40 minutes before hanging up. They called me 3 days later and told me that the my guarntor and I had been accepted and they were sending the loan to the underwriters to prepare the contract. My guarntor was asked for documentation which they uploaded immediately but we didn't hear back. So here I am, 2 days later trying to call them again, currently in the hold que (46.51). Its too difficult to get through by phone to sort things out. If they can now see this review and arrange the payout, I'm more likely to upgrade my star rating.

No consideration or understanding for their customers, no much needed support during the COVID-19 pandemic and no interest or intention of providing/advising customers how they can be supported with payment freezes during these challenging times, despite new measures being imposed by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Excellent, they took their time to understand my loan needs. Once we decided to move forward with our loan it was quick and easy from start to finish! Anytime I call they are not only responsive but also attentive to my needs. I highly recommend!!

Absolutely fantastic my first loan ever and they made it super easy for me , done everything for me and made sure I understood and had all the information I needed to be left happy and answered al my questions so I would understand them aswell, would highly recommend to friends and family!.

Absolutely disgusting. I can’t afford my monthly payments any longer, with coronavirus my income has been reduced and my rent and other essentials are the priority bills which cause me go in arrears with my payments - what I get from actually discussing it before with the BuddyLoans teams? Email that my direct debit failed, interest charged daily and fee. Honestly the team is ‘great’ - DO NOT GET A LOAN OR EVEN ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Apsolutely discusting, I'm a front line worker having to deal with covid 19 on a day to day basis, I'm struggling financially due to child care in these hard times, I've never missed a payment however due to the situation I had to make a reduced payment which the customer service was fine with, past 2 weeks buddy loans have been threatening, harassing. Are buddy loans blind to the situation or what. I don't recommend anyone use them as there customer friendly policy doesn't exist and empothy more like bully boy tactics. And certainly never reply to emails.
Today 1st of April I had a phone call from a customer service representative who was really nice and investigated this incident and at this moment in time I'm happy with the out come and he did assure me that buddy loans are working with people so at this moment in time my review is neutral

They've got 1 star because you cant give any less. These leeches continually harass and pester people for payment at time when the whole country is on lockdown and people have lost their incomes. Absolutely disgusting. While other companies give payment breaks and relief these bandits threaten you with debt collection. Never mind people now have to try and survive on universal credit because of the pandemic these would rather you go without food on the table so long as they got their money.

So this disgraceful company say they was going to contact me to discuss me review and instead of doing that they just take the money leaving me without enough money to pay my essention bills. This is after they sent me an email saying they are there to support there customers through this difficult time due to the coronavirus outbreak where is the support??????

Thanks buddy loans you are like the moon, lighting someone's way during the darkness. Your staff where friendly and professional throughout the process. We felt that they generally cared about us and wanted to help, thank You so much.

Kept constant contact and kept me up to date frequently quick process had the money in a day great repayment price/interest rate friendly on the phone and only need a good guarantor.

Very bad service! Waited 3 days for a response. I had to call them back to see if I had been accepted. They said No.

So even if you have bad credit with good guarantor they will say no.

The website is very misleading

It was easy and quick the only little thing I kept getting same emails about 3 times

Great customer service from everyone i spoke to and they were all very polite and great to talk to so very happy with this service i will definitely be recommending you to friends and family.
