We were travelling in an unusual destination with difficult roads & covering long distances on most days. Our guide, Kenny, was helpful & enthusiastic, he made the trip very special with his knowledge of the country & its people, loved his humour. Local guides too were keen for us to get the most out of our trip. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to add some adventure to their travel itinerary.

It truly was an amazing experience. The tour with 9 others, was well planned, the accommodation was excellent and our guide Kenny was outstanding. Caring, informative with a great sense of humour. So helpful in every way. Madagascar is a beautiful country, diverse and extraordinary. From the rainforest to the dry desert boababs and vast plains to mountains,and the vegetation so varied and its wild life unique I loved it all. The bustling capital Antananarivo of 5,000,000 people was interesting. Food markets set up beside the streets, people jostling with Zebu hauling wares and colourful street scenes. Madagascar is a fascinating country. Our guides and drivers were brilliant and the tour ran very smoothly as Madagascar is not an easy country to travel around. There was a good balance of activities and every day had any number of highlights.

Madagascar was a fantastic tour. It was physically hard though with 4 hikes lasting 3 to 4 hours in extreme heat. Well worth it and proud we made it. Saw so many lemurs on these hikes. Also saw so many chamelions (my favourites). The scenery was amazing especially the mountains and rice paddys. The poverty was eye opening and makes you appreciate what we have. All our accommodation was excellent as were the meals. Made new friends which I'm sure we will keep in contact with. A good group makes all the difference (7 in our group). John our guide was great...full of passion and knowledge as well as a great sense of humour!

The physical challenge of those hikes in the heat is demanding, so well done to you both for pushing through – we're pleased that you found it a rewarding experience.

It’s means a lot to hear that the tour provided an eye-opening perspective and fostered new friendships. It sounds like your group go on really well too which always adds a special element.

As I found out there is more to Madagascar than Lemurs & Chameleons. The people, places & the differing landscapes were wonderful. A small group of 7 made for a great trip. Kenny our experienced tour director & Kennedy, Felani, Tiavina & Tony from Authentic Madagascar Tours were excellent. Max our driver & Alain our assistant were also excellent. I would definitely recommend the Bunnik Discover Madagascar Tour. Please note Madagascar is a developing country so there will be potholes in the roads & accommodation that is not 5 star to us (some was outstanding) but this is all part of the journey. Please put Madagascar on your list. I would also like to thank Osney for organising my trip & the additional week in Mauritius everything went smoothly. He also arranged my Scandinavian trip last year!.

Have just finished a tour of Madagascar which was everything I had hoped for especially the animals and countryside. Our guide was knowledgeable and willing to help us get the best of the tour. We were a small group of 5 so bonded quickly, and have some great memories and photos
