Failed order. 24 days to get refund
Placed an order 11th September. The order failed but the money was taken from my account (not pending actually cleared) emailed customer service who confirmed order had failed and would process refund within 5 working days. After 7 days no refund so emailed again. Was then advised by Beth from customer service it would be passed onto finance to process refund and to allow until 4th October for the amount to show in my bank account. When I made the order the cash was taken from my account within seconds. How can Burton justify it taking up to 24 days for me to get my money back for items I never received.

J'ai fait une commande il y a deux article trop petit et j'ai fait le retour et j'ai recommander le même une taille plus grand. Je suis rembourser une article pour 20€ et il manque le deuxième article à 28€ dans la même colis.
Troisième fois que j'envoie le mail et aucune réponse. Si je téléphone au numéro 0160535700 aucune réponse. Le site exite toujours pour commander mais le retour sont plus remboursé pas du tout normal.

Would have been as well just shutting down
I used to be an avid shopper of Burtons. It was my go to place for work clothes and jeans. The quality was always excellent and I never had an issue.
Since they got bought over the quality has when drastically down hill. My work jeans (I’m predominately office based) wouldn’t last very long before ripping at the exact same spot. I had 4 pairs do that on the space of 4/6months. The sizes of clothes also became erratic.
My last order the stuff barely lasted 2 washes before no longer fitting properly and got sold on vinted. After that I vowed to shop elsewhere. I needed a few replacement jumpers today and thought id have a look. The shop has just became a bazaar of rubbish with random brands that are obviously not selling elsewhere in the group getting punted here.
I don’t image it will be overly long before the business shuts for good. Shame on a great brand.

Au 19/07, toujours aucun message pour confirmer la bonne réception des articles retournés. Bien évidemment, aucune trace d'un remboursement et personne ne répond au numéro de téléphone du service client 01 60 53 57 00.
Une véritable entreprise fantôme.

Impossible to get hold of customers…
Impossible to get hold of customers services. All emails returned as blocked. Send two trousers back in May and still no refund. Paid through Klarna and they are going to charge me the full amount. Is it normal that customers have to resort to negative reviews to have a remote chance of somebody acknowledging a client? Are they convinced that business will be so good forever that they can afford to ignore clients? Hope so for them... One less here.

Commande annulée dès le lendemain suite à une "rupture de stock". Je reçois un mail le jour suivant pour me dire que le produit est de nouveau disponible. Le montant de la commande non expédiée a bien été prélevé mais toujours pas de remboursement à l'horizon. La moindre des choses aurait été d'attendre le délai de préparation avant d'annuler inutilement une commande. De plus aucun geste commercial proposé pour le désagrément. Visiblement il semble y avoir de gros problèmes pour commander leur robe en lin bleu pétrole. En bref le personnel en boutique est très sympatique mais pour ce qui est des commandes internet c'est la catastrophe.

Very poor, items arrived screwed up, All items returned, contacted them on 4 separate occasions for a refund every time stating it had been authorised and will be in my account in 4 days, total time for refund 31 days.

During the transit process, items can become creased however I have passed your feedback on regarding this matter.
In regards to the refund, once a refund is processed we ask customers to allow 3-5 working days for this to show in the payment method at the latest. If the return has exceeded 15 days, please always do let us know and we can get this refund manually.

Very late refunding
Ordered mens suit. It arrived quickly but the trousers were to small so sent back straight away. It's taken over a month to get my money back. Shocking amount of time. I ordered the next size up from Debenhams where they arrived 2 days later and ice been wearing for the last month and literally only just got my refund from burtons.

Emily helped me sort out my refund issue with Burton after there was an issue with it that took over a month. Her customer service is impeccable and fantastic. She first apologised for the delay and explained it was an error on their part. Then she proceeded to sort out the refund . She made me smile.

You take nearly a month to process a return for items which were clearly FAULTY because they were not manufactured to the correct sizing or colouring when compared to the image and you have the audacity to charge me a returns fee despite me having returned them as faulty for the above reasons. I’ve been in contact with Burton for almost 3 weeks trying to get refunds on 2 orders, they keep telling me the refund orders went wrong and ‘pushing it through for me’ yet I am still yet to receive any refunds. I’m over £400 out of pocket. There is no one to speak to physically as they don’t have a phone number and won’t provide one. I only have texts with them. So upsetting and frustrating.

I returned 4 suits to burtons on 11th May. Received an email on the 19th May to say the return was received. Then nothing. Can't reply to the email and no way of contacting Burton. Shocking customer service. I've never had to wait this long for a refund from any other company. It seems like I'm not alone. Where's my money!
