Such wonderful staff, made our daughter feel safe and supported and can’t recommend them enough!

Amazing team and amazing space, they’re always up to loads of activity’s and send regular updates on the app. Their team are so friendly warm and welcoming. I chose them because I love their garden and I’m so glad I did. They really have treated us like family and have gone above and beyond.

We’ve had a really positive experience at Carshalton Beeches.

We really like the curriculum and the variety of activities they offer. The staff are always friendly, approachable and happy to help with any questions or queries. We’ve always felt well supported and have been very happy with the care and experience overall.

This nursery has really gone downhill. Staff in the baby room were innattentive and generally seemed like they didn't want to be there. I don't believe there was any enrichment happening, it simply felt like a holding cell until they were reunited with their parents. Staff also joked about some of the babies being too clingy and how this was annoying for them. And this was all from when I was present, I dread to think about when there's not a parent in the room.

We absolutely loved our time at Busy Bees. Everyone was so lovely, caring and professional, and I always felt completely at ease leaving my daughter there. She was always so happy to go in, and it was lovely to see how much she learned and developed while having fun. The whole team, including the manager and admin staff, were fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Busy Bees enough!

We couldn’t be happier with Busy Bees Wigan and the care our boys receive there. They absolutely love going to nursery, and it’s been amazing to see how much they have developed since starting. They are constantly learning new things, gaining confidence and developing new skills every week.
The staff are fantastic and genuinely care about the children. A special thank you to Jess, Keira, Karen and Nicola, who take such great care of our boys. They always make us feel reassured that our children are happy, safe and well looked after.

My daughter has loved her time at busy bees! She settled in quickly and all my needs were met as a parent. I was very anxious and emotional about her starting and they kept good communications with me.

Both of my children have attended this nursery and absolutley loved it! Environments are very stimulating and children are challenged daily. Would definantly recommend this nursery for your children.

Didn’t explain extra funds. Trying to charge £600 more as they didn’t explain and threatening to take further action.

Fantastic Nursery, Amazing Staff who Genuinely take an interest and love your child whilst they are there.

My little boy has had the best experience at Nursery so far, he's been attending for a while now and absolutely loves it. He is thriving and has come on leaps and bounds. Nothing you ask is too much for any of the staff, they are genuinely interested in your child's experiences, learning and development and want to help and support them to continue growing and developing.

The team are wonderful, all get on together and are friendly and so so welcoming. It's just like a huge family! All staff make the effort to connect with the children and listen to their needs and care for them.

Whenever I have had really last minute urgent unplanned things that have cropped up and need to be dealt with or have needed to adjust hours slightly they have been so helpful and accomodating!

As a mum when you send your children off to nursery it can feel quite daunting, they are your precious little babies and trusting others to care for them when they are so little and have only ever really been cared for by you or family it can feel quite daunting! You need someone to care for your little one where you know they are going to be 100% safe and looked after as much as they are at home and most importantly where they are going to be happy, loved and be able to thrive! This is exactly what these guys do! From trainees/apprentices, through to management, the chef, maintenance team and even the various area managers who I have met since my boy started.. all of them fully child focussed and always giving any child that approaches them or talks to them their full attention. Offering comfort when it's needed or wanted and making genuine connections with your children during these precious formative years.

My son loves it here,he has made so many friends, took part in so many different activities, stories and learnings of new skills. Has built connections and relationships and has developed a strong foundation of love, security, kindness, independence, confidence and self worth. All of which are helping to shape him into the amazing little boy he is growing into.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I’m so grateful that you’ve all been such an important and amazing part of my village since he joined last year.

The staff make me feel comfortable to leave my son. They are positive and encouraging and my Son loves going to nursery. I would recommend Oakley Vale Busy Bees to anyone looking for excellent care for their children.

Our experience with Busy Bees unfortunately did not start well, and it didn’t improve over time. Despite receiving an automated email advising that someone would contact us about settling‑in sessions, no one reached out. As the start date approached, we still had no communication and had to chase repeatedly. When the sessions were finally arranged, they were booked very close together, and the first was cancelled on the day due to staff sickness. When I asked whether this was likely to happen once our child officially started, I was told that agency staff would be brought in for “real” sessions — implying that settling‑in sessions were not considered important enough to ensure cover. This meant our child missed a vital settling session, and unfortunately this set the tone for the experience.

On the first actual day, the Centre Director opened the door without any welcome or greeting, which immediately felt uninviting. After lunch, we contacted the room to check how our child was settling and whether they had eaten, and were told everything was fine. However, at collection our child ran over crying, and we learned they had not eaten anything all day. They also had a cut on their nose, and when we asked what had happened, the room leader could only guess it occurred during their nap — nothing had been recorded.

We continued for a month because we had no alternative childcare at the time, but it was extremely difficult. Drop‑offs were distressing, and we often tried to collect early because our child was clearly struggling. We were relieved when we were finally able to move to another setting.

There were a few kind staff members, and I later learned that the Centre Director had left, which may explain some of the behaviour we experienced — but regardless, the lack of professionalism and organisation had a real impact. Our child is naturally a little shy, but the experience at Busy Bees did not help them settle or build confidence. Which was very disappointing as it looked good initially, with the newly rennovated room and the app is good. Our child's new setting has been a completely different experience: more professional, more attentive, and far better equipped to support them.

Horrific experience with Busy Bees in Shenley, Hertfordshire and would never recommend them. I am a mother of 3 and nothing usually fazes me when it comes to nurseries, I’m very familiar with the set up and have realistic expectations. My 18 month old was absolutely traumatised by Busy Bees for the short time he was there before we pulled him out - we signed him up for afternoon sessions twice a week which we were told was absolutely fine, however after settling in I was repeatedly moaned at by staff that my baby was getting too upset and disturbing other children because when he arrives for his session the entire toddler room is asleep, so he’s upset at having no one to play with for the first TWO HOURS of his 4 hour session. Why even offer afternoon sessions in that case? And why wait until we’ve paid to tell us this when I made it extremely clear that my baby will have already napped before 1pm, and also clarified that morning sessions are not an option for us?
Shortly after this we received a call that our baby had bumped his head and had a lump and bruise but was otherwise fine. Not even 30 minutes later, the app was updated to tell me my child - who had already napped - was asleep. Asleep after a head injury and a room full of qualified professionals all thought this was acceptable.
Every single time I collected my baby his face would be covered in dried, encrusted snot from crying all day. On two occasions I collected him and found him crying unattended while staff played with other children, despite them knowing he was new and obviously struggling with the adjustment and not being supported. The final straw, and I’m embarrassed it took me this long to pull him out, was that his dairy intolerance was not uploaded on the system despite my reminders. We switched to Juniper Juniors immediately after this and they were an absolute dream, settling in was perfect and to date he hasn’t had a single issue there 6 months later. To say I absolutely loathe them for how they treated an innocent and scared baby would be an understatement. Avoid this one like the plague.

We have been using the nursery around 6 months and love it. Our child is thriving and the staff are wonderful. Any teething issues is nothing to do with the wonderful staff. I specifically chose a nursery with app access to track food etc.. and sometimes food is missing or hasn’t uploaded properly due to internet issues (I think) but they always let me verbally know on pick up what they have had or any issues. Also frustrating in the summer when they are in the garden and we are ringing the bell and sometimes huge line of parents - ideally need a doorbell in the garden to help this. Otherwise I’m so happy with them and very happy with my choice, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Busy Bees at Cheam Nonsuch was a wonderful nursery right from sign up to when we had to leave due to moving away! Kelly was kind and understanding through the initial sign up process and with regards to figuring out funded hours!
Issy and Eliani got to know my son so well and I felt so at ease knowing he was with them when I was at work. They kept me updated regularly all day with his feeding, milk and nappies and provided photos almost every day of his activities.
Thank you for a lovely 6 months, we wish we could stay longer and my son remembers you all very fondly still.
