Always a bit unnerving calling camera specialist for advice as a female photographer. Some competitors which I will not name can be very male oriented and set in their ways.

Cameraworld however are always welcoming either on the phone or in their shops. I mostly go to the london branch.

I recently purchased a new lens for a shoot that I needed delivered. After a few checks cameraworld agreed to deliver the lens and a few other items I needed to the shoot location. Arrived safely next day in a pre 12 service and was exactly what I needed.

Make sure to give these guys a try next time your after some equipment for your kit bag.

I ordered a new Canon camera and lens kit online. The item arrived within two days and was packed superbly. Will be recommending to my colleagues and photo friends. Excellent service.

Very pleased with the service I received from CameraWorld, my ordered lens arrive a little earlier than promised with full infomation about times and delivery day and also very pleased with the lens.

I ordered Gomatic x McKinnon Messenger 13L on the website which stated it is in stock and will dispatched in 3-5 business days. After few days I emailed them to ask the delivery date and they do not reply email. I want a refund please.

Dreadful, wish I'd read recent reviews. Multiple attempts to contact the London and Stevenage stores went unanswered, both telephone and email. Only part of an order received. Paid extra for next day delivery, website says orders before 3pm will arrive next day for an extra £5.... didn't happen.

Left with no other option but to open a dispute with my card issuer.

Give this lot a wide berth.

I bought lens from here . I emailed them 3 times asking to cancel my order. Rug 100 times was never answered. To day I received the order I want to return again no communication whatsoever . I will open PayPal dispute! Avoid them

Proabably the worst in Customer Service/Communication out of all the camera stores in and around London. Bought a Sigma lens, wasn't happy with it, saw another lens I wanted to trade it in for and filled out the online trade in form - no response. Filled out multiple more and called several times a day, to multiple branches - no answer! It's been a month and I am now stuck with this lens (past 28 days return window) and as a disabled person I cannot just waltz up to the shop I purchased it from without knowing the replacement is in stock. For peace of mind and to protect your pockets - I would avoid.

Literally the worst service from a major supplier ever experienced.
Ordered a camera rain cover on Sept 19th intending to use it at an outdoor photoshoot on Oct 3rd. Paid for 1-4 day delivery. Hadn't received it after 10 days. No information about the delay was sent to me. Used the web contact form to ask for delivery update. No response. Phoned a couple of days later. The person found my order on the system, apologised and said he'd get it processed straight away. Didn't receive the goods nor any other update.
The event came and went.
A week later I phoned again and this time spoke to someone helpful (thank you 'Dee'!)who not only got it sorted but identified an equivalent but cheaper product for me that I received the next day. I expect to use it next season. But really, what a shower of incompetence.
Very unhappy and frustrated with my experience with CameraWorld. Dee eventually recovered the situation, but it was too little, too late. The event I ordered the equipment for was long passed by the time I received the goods.

Ordered an item that was showing as "in stock" but obviously wasn't. After chasing was told they were waiting for the item and it would be sent out as next day delivery. Now been message to say it was dispatched yesterday but it hasn't even reached DPD today. Phonelines not working.

I ordered an expensive monopod (Sirui P-424FL Carbon Fibre Monopod with Stand) which was stated to be in stock on their website. I ordered it precisely because it was in stock as I needed it shortly after the expected delivery date. Also, I had previously found CAMERAWORLD (in their high street physical shops) to provide excellent service, so I had no reason to doubt them. When the delivery date came and went I had several phone calls with CameraWorld who assured me that it was coming in the next couple of days. They clearly didn't have the item in stock. I would have preferred if they just came out and told me that from the start rather than stringing me along. I eventually received the monopod (very late) and while I love it, that's not the point, very disappointed with how this was handled by CAMERAWORLD.
P.S. over the phone, someone at CameraWorld eventually said that they had an issue with their website and that it was saying everything was in stock when it wasn't. But if that is the case, why didn't they just fess up immediately instead of stringing me along.

The printer I ordered wasn't in stock and wasn't returning to the market but they very kindly gave me another one from the same brand at a really good discounted price. Although I've given full stars my only niggle was how long it took for it to arrive. I paid for next day delivery and it then took about a week but their customer service was great and I'm really happy with the printer hence full stars from me 😊

Shocking service.

Do not buy from them.

Waited over a week for a lens, tried to call them but not no answer. When the lens did arrive, they sent the wrong lens.

Now in the process of getting this refunded and have paypal involved to sort this out.

Transaction was smooth and fine not until I’ve put in my postcode incorrectly. It’s my fault. However, I’ve reached out both telephone and email but nobody is picking up my concern. It’s been almost a week of reaching out. I hope somebody from your team could help me deal with my parcel.
