Have renewed at a lower cost than the first year. Not needed to make any claims but very responsive when I just needed to update my contact details.

We are now into our second year of insurance with Caravan Guard. We have not had to make any claims so far, but the prices are competitive and whenever we speak to anyone on the phone, they are always polite, courteous and very helpful.

Caravan guard were very helpful and really easy to deal with. My quote was done straight away and and the whole process was painless from then on.

KEY COVER, WHAT A JOKE!!!
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING.

I took out key cover with caravan Guard and when I lost my keys I had to make several phone calls back and forth until they actually decided that yes I was covered for lost keys because after speaking with three people who said it's only covers my keys if they are stolen only when I got told of a manager did they agree that yes key cover does cover you if you lose your keys please keep reading because this gets better they then said I was going to get a call from the locksmith company that they use so the next day I got a call from the company that they use if you lose your keys when I spoke to them and told them I have a motorhome the reply was we don't do motorhome locks 😆 😂 but we can send our specialized locksmith out to you and he can have a look and see if our company can do this job so Three Days Later he turned up Friday afternoon walked round my motorhome which is a 2018 chasson flash after walking around my vehicle for five minutes I asked what the verdict was and he said we will let you know I then didn't hear anything until Monday morning when I called the insurance company again because no one had spoken to me caravan Guard then told me that they were waiting to hear from the locksmith roll on to the next day when I called in the morning at this point I'm getting a little frustrated when I spoke to them again Tuesday morning they still couldn't send someone out to replace the locks and give me new keys because the company doesn't deal with caravans or motorhomes take in mind I've gone to these because they are caravan and motorhome specialists ,the reply was then we will search and find someone that can do all the locks and have them out to you as soon as possible each evening I phy caravan Guard just before they closed asking for updates in the end we were back to the next Friday again at this point I was absolutely livid and said to them can I just find a locksmith and you just pay them which they agreed to because of all the locks on my motorhome including the locks for the transit the bonnets everything all the barrels and keys had to be replaced which as you can imagine cost over a thousand pound which I was unaware of then realized that I had to come up with the money and then claim it back from caravan Guard and with me being disabled and not working at the moment I had to borrow the money from my sister and pay her back once caravan Guard put the money back in my account which they would only do once they had all receipts and invoices which I understand but still what sort of idiots employ a key company that doesn't deal with caravans or motorhomes when your company is just caravans and motorhomes obviously I complained and I'll be honest they give me a hundred pound which I took just so I didn't have to deal with them anymore honestly worst experience with an insurance company I have ever had in my entire life if you use them don't bother getting key cover from reporting it to finish I was without my only means of transport for about 2 weeks, just think how bad it would have been if my motorhome wasn't parked outside my house.😞😞😞😞

Excellent service, knowledgeable staff who know their produce and can provide examples to options before you make a choice.
Having used Caravan Guard for a number of years, any amendments made mid policy have been explained clearly.
Comparing prices at renewal, we've continued to use Caravan Guard as they are extremely competitive and know their product. All staff members dealt with over our time with Caravan Guard have always been friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain clearly any parts /providing examples, when you are unsure of the choice to make.
Excellent company for touring caravan insurance.

We had a gas explosion in our previous van. No falt of ours. Brought a new camper this week went back to caravan guard and because of the no fault they are charging us £700 more than last years policy for a very simular van. We have been with them years we are pensioners and feel this is unjust. Mrs Therese Stephenson

Received leaflet for Caravan Guard when we purchased our new campervan. Second quote and no comparison.One call to friendly agent super helpful and Policy clearly explained. Free 2 week cover is so innovative. Great price, Great service so Thank you would recommend.

Caravan guard gave a very competitive premium and 14 days free cover so I could sort out the change over of motorhomes.

Friendly efficient service, everything was explained in plain English and every query was answered without drama. Very good level of cover for the price.

Great price, quick pick up on phone lines (rare these days).
Sadly, despite debiting card, the insurance documents never arrived, even after asking for them to be sent again by email. Fortunately, hadn't canceled auto-renewal on previous policy (held off for documents!) so have gone with that.

They are refunding the amount paid.

Normally this would deserve a 1 star (or no star!) but have another motorhome policy with them and that has just been just fine. Maybe using the same email address caused an issue.

So a technical issue rather than bad service.

Will give them a try next year - they are compeitive.

The amendment to my policy was dealt with in courteous and efficient manner.
