False size information, hides information for EU customers
Their sizes on their EU site are wrong, and they refuse to fix that even after being prompted. That's completely inacceptable for a mail order company. They won't even tell that those are converted sizes. They can't grasp the concept of size conversion between US and Euro sizes, since the size increments differ between the systems, which is appearantly behind their abilities to deal with. This places great concerns about the rest of the process, considering how easy that is.
In addition, they redirect you automatically to the EU site if you are located there, with no option to stay on their main site. That means that people in the EU can't reach all of their information. (At least before they did this, you could reach their main site, and see things like upcoming models.) This would also be a problem in other cases, such as if you live in the USA, but want to place the order while you're travelling.

Hi Jess, thank you for your review. We apologize for the poor experience that you had.
We're aware that US sizes change in increments of 8.46 mm (1/3 inch), and EU sizes change in increments of 6.7mm (1/4 inch). While the increments for both systems are standardized, the starting points are not, so there are inconsistencies between all brands. We tried our best to go with the "most common" by referencing the sizing charts of brands that would be popular with our customers.
We did used to redirect traffic coming from European IP addresses to our EU.Carets.com, in order to give European customers the cheapest and quickest shipping. We thought it would be unfortunate for a European customer to accidentally purchase from our US site, only to find out we had an EU site. However, we've since shut down our EU operations and consolidated everything to carets.com.
