panic over
I only ever use sites that friends recommended to me but went a head and used this company.
I had problems with the email but I contacted customer service using the text chat service and they sent me the code there and then while I was chatting, but be aware that links sent in emails were being shown on my iphone and not when using my tablet (surface touch) so embedded links may not show on some devices whether this is an issue for just me I don't know but I would use them again in the future

Cheapxboxlivecodes.com is the sister site of electronicfirst.com. They have lots of positive reviews on Trustpilot.
I have used both sites three times over the past few years, the latest being today. Electronicfirst.com had a 12-month Xbox live Gold card for a pound cheaper for some reason. From payment to receiving the code took about 30mins. I had an email asking for my landline number and home address. Seemed a bit dodgy, but they sent the code straight away after I provided them. They do state they require this info in their T&Cs, but feel it could all be included in the original order process, rather than chasing up via email.
Anyway, the code works fine, another 12 months of Xbox live for almost half-price. Will definitely use again.

Don't do business with there guys under any circumstance.
Very fishy company. They ask you to verify who you are and claim that it is a one-time process, they then will ask for more details again if you order a second time, they will tell you it is still part of that initial one-time process. I almost think they don't understand how stupid that sounds.
They start asking you to photocopy letters and if all gets very suspicious. Their customer service is also awful, they aren't apologetic over any inconvenience and seem to think that as long as they keep telling you these lies that you will somehow hand over your personal data. They also do not favor the customer at all, my payment to them was taken immediately, my repayment will take days...
Don't do business with there guys under any circumstance.
