I've been back to Quadrant in Chelmsford a few times over the past few years. It's fair to say I thoroughly enjoy my shopping experience every time, no seriously each and every time!

I start with a visit to Brambles Cafe, after announcing on social media that I have arrived, I receive a genuine greeting and am offered some of the day's selection. Okay, so I can't say no to a breakfast, a side of toast with a cuppa (locally sourced ingredients by the way!).

I continue with visiting fashion and gifts areas, finding plenty of bargains and stylish pieces from lesser known to top range brands such as Barbour, Jack & Jones and Radley to name but a few of those on offer. I am served by one of the happiest colleagues I have met in a while. Lovely service. I carry on to the homewares section, it's been relocated within the store but still with plenty of choice. Sadly we've already booked our next two holidays and couldn't pay a visit to the Travel team, maybe next time. 😊

Back to the cafe for some reorganization and another cuppa, travelling back to Kent with several large bags was not going to be easy, or so I thought. On my way out I found some decorative pieces, Christmas cards ready for next year and a fantastic wall clock for my office that shows both the time and day of the week! (We've all been there, am I right?!).

The colleagues who served me we very accomodating and helped me pack those last-minute purchases.

There were rail works going on between Chelmsford and Billericay which meant using a bus replacement service. I left with 4 large bags which were full and a rucksack which was also full. The journey was actually quite smooth back to Kent, I'm planning to visit again in March. 👍

Excellent service. Had a small problem with placing an order but it was handled instantly, really good.

Love the Quadrant Department Stores in both Chelmsford & Braintree. Always fantastic service from their sales team. They know the products they sell and never had any issues at all. A very friendly bunch too! The Brambles Restaurant is lovely to dine in too and really enjoy the freshly cooked meals on offer. I much prefer to shop in independent retailers on the high street and experience good face-to-face customer service.

Absolute joke of a shop who stole my money then was rude and very nasty by refusing to give me a refund. Shame on you for taking advantage of a disabled person. Seriously, I never such disgusting and ableist customer service in my life! I bought a sloggi bra from the shop last week and the woman bought me the wrong size out. I didn’t realise this at the time or that the bra was marked and dirty. When I got home I realised this and went back a week later to get a refund. The woman that served me last week was very rude and nasty to me. Not to mention ableist as I’m disabled. She claimed I must be dirty and have got dirt on there and refused to give me a refund. Or that it was dirty because it had been in my bag! I have gone back twice now and complained to the manager. They were even more rude to my grandparents who went with me the second time. I will be taking this matter further and will never purchased anything from this awful place again!

I got something extra with my croissant yesterday morning(Friday)at challis lane coop a red hair was in the bag with it, I will be complaining to health and hygiene

I had a problem with some furniture and having read reviews realised this was not a problem peculiar to my furniture. Other people who had encountered the same failure had bought their furniture at various stores and had nothing but problems with the after sales service. I'm happy to say, not so with Quadrant. The courteous, helpful service has literally been second to none. Well done Furniture Department.

Wonderful customer service, polite and caring staff. Brilliant and unique selection of items especially Christmas decorations. Up to date and quality fashion items, with lovely restaurant. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with the service provided both in store and by the installer.
Once the order was processed the service was quick and efficient.

The shopping experience at Quadrant is very positive. There are a variety of fashion designers, a good selection of shoes and other accessories.

I have always found the assistants helpful and enjoy looking around the Quadrant

The Toy section is good and has a wide choice of Toys and Games.

Nice cashiers, although not many pay points. Very many bargains still in sale but the shop seems 'tired' and with lots of outlets which seem to change frequently you go from very nice and expensive clothing to really cheap tat

The best store in Chelmsford, great customer service and range of brands/concessions.
