We had a level 3 RICS Home Survey done ahead of house purchase. The survey process was smooth, arranged quickly (they worked direct with the estate agent) and the report was timely and sufficiently detailed. The price was very reasonable, which I appreciated in case we needed any follow up investigations it meant we still had a budget. The customer service really stood out in terms of 1) a clear quote with no hidden extra's 2) answering questions before hand 3) going to extra effort to specifically check a couple of things I had concerns about 4) making time to talk through the report afterwards so I could clarify understanding and plan next steps for the house purchase negotiations with confidence. Chiggy was both professional and friendly. It was really refreshing for the process of a house survey to be stress free and to feel relevant and thorough. Highly recommend.

I engaged Chiggy to carry out a Level 2 survey of a property I was purchasing. Chiggy is RICS accredited, and his registration number was clearly displayed on all correspondence and documentation. His terms of engagement, contract, and invoices were straightforward, easy to understand, and professionally presented. His fees were competitive and excellent value for money. To reassure me of the quality I could expect, he even shared a redacted Level 2 report in advance, which set a high bar for transparency and professionalism.

On the day, Chiggy was extremely thorough. He spent over two hours surveying the property (a four-bedroom, two-reception home). I was able to attend the survey myself, giving me the benefit of a second viewing while also seeing first-hand how meticulous he was.

Chiggy’s communication skills are exceptional. He responded to my emails and texts promptly, kept me informed at every stage, and happily spoke with me over the phone to clarify anything I didn’t understand. He is approachable, personable, clear in his explanations, and always open to questions.

The Report
Chiggy delivered the Level 2 report within the agreed timeframe. I was extremely impressed with its clarity—free of jargon and easy to digest. It was highly personalised, not just a generic “copy-and-paste” report, and went above and beyond expectations. The inclusion of detailed evidence, such as photographs and diagrams, made it even more valuable. Importantly, his findings aligned with my own impressions of the property, and he was transparent about areas not covered (e.g., drainage).

Aftercare
Even after the report was issued, Chiggy provided excellent aftercare by thoroughly answering my follow-up questions. This extra level of support gave me confidence and peace of mind.

Overall
I am delighted that I engaged Chiggy for my property survey. His report reassured me about the purchase while also highlighting sensible next steps, such as routine servicing (e.g., the boiler).
