Felt disappointed . 74% negative feedback on trustpilot
I returned a pair of trousers for an exchange but chums sent an email saying they had received my return but they wanted another £9. I thought it was a scam at first. Most annoyingly i couldnt reply to the email they sent as they dont accept replies so i had to contact them through their website just to cause more stress. Ive had stuff from them in the past but this was such a bad experience i wont bother again. 1 pair of trousers cost £25.98 including vat and postage. Looking at the recent reviews theres 74% negative experiences on trustpilot which indicates a company in decline. Unless they can turn things around they may aswell do us all a favour and close the business. I was so disappointed and felt cheated. I suppose i will go down the local market and get some trousers cheaper, I should gave done that in the first place.

Evri confirm shoes returned to them but Chums say not received even though I have confirmation from Evri.
Agent seemed half asleep and gave conflicting information. I have to wait 14 days for a refund once they find my parcel! My last purchase from this lot.

Terrible customer service
Ordered men’s shoes size 10 needed urgently… they delivered a size 8. Despite being their error they wouldn’t despatch correct size until others returned… for which I was told 14 days to refund those… and I had to make a new order for correct size and pay again for delivery… I said I would expect free express delivery but despite a manager callback they just read from a script and kept repeating themselves. No effort made to rectify what was their clear error. Dreadful customer service absolutely dreadful
**response to reply…. already had manager callback not wasting anymore of my time … I understand want to check returned goods before refund issued… I shouldn’t have to wait 14days for that refund… but as shoes needed urgently I re ordered another pair… paid again… but you should have applied free express delivery to try and minimise your error.. but no I’ve had to pay postage again - pathetic

Trousers - Bad Fit - Too Small !
I ordered two pairs of trousers with elasticated waists - both sized 46" waist x 29" leg. I tried them on but was not happy with the overall fit so I returned them to the company on 26th August 2026 and a monetary refund is now being organised for myself. The overall purchase price was very good as was the delivery service.

This order from Chums only served to remind me why I had stopped buying from them. No contact whatsoever from Chums despite taking my money via PayPal.
Without my PayPal receipt I doubt that I could have got past “Chums friendly customer services”.
The clothing when it eventually arrived is fine but getting it was torture.
