MYSTERY GROCERY CLEARANCE BOX
Whilst waiting for two months, there was no communication from the company until I got a text from DHL saying a parcel is arriving on the same day. I didn't expect the items to be so old; nearly all the items were from 2025 and 2024, even a few items were from 2023: I threw all of it away. RRP is £40 but I got it for £18 using Wowcher voucher, and £5 for delivery.
Overall, it worked out very expensive and a very disappointing.
The concept may be well thought out however in practice, it took 3 months for my order to arrive.
I received no response to my communications or requests for updates. Neither, was I advised of the long lead times when making my purchase.
I only received my items, after I requested a refund since it had been 3 months. That email/ contact was also ignored, but magically the order was shipped.
Once I received my order (box of books x2) the quality was varied. Some seemed used & stained, most were notably very very old, and 90% I did not know or recognise the author, or title. And all but one or two seemed to be from America / Canada.
Overall, it worked out very expensive and very disappointing. I had really high hopes for the purchase. I didn’t expect brand new books, however I expected recognisable books for the past 5/6 years. None of what I received fit that.

Ordered a mystery book box
Ordered a mystery book box, was supposed to be delivered in 7-30 days. It's now been 42, and still not arrived.
I have messaged their online chat service and emailed the company, and they have not replied at all.

Ordered in february. Still not recieved anything. I have contacted the company many times but i get no answer. I have asked for a refund but again no answer to that either

Worst experience ever, took over 1 month to deliver then 95% of the contents were 2 -3 years out of date

Honestly not a great experience
I placed an order at the end of February, I knew delivery would take a while so I wasn't surprised that it took so long to dispatch. However when the parcel was dispatched at the end of March, however the tracking never moved beyond, "We've received the details and are awaiting your parcel" message. After a week the tracking disappeared, I send a message to the company and got no response, I tried again, nothing. I then raised a complaint, no response, I have raised a 2nd complaint no response.
Updated - So I never did receive a reply to any of my messages which included complaints, a written letter sent via the post and a message from Wowcher. I finally received my parcel which was massive and did have a little note on the invoice that said sorry for the delay. Now I'm going to be honest the box had a good selection of goods mine had lots of snacks and drinks. I took me a good 30 mins to get the box fully unpacked (10 of which were trying to get the goods in the door because the delivery driver just left the package and ran so they did not have to help. Honestly the box was good value but given the experience I had with the customer service I do not plan to use them again as this was so stressful and as someone who already has depression and anxiety I do not need require more stress in my life.
Been waiting since early February, still nothing
I placed an order through wowcher then through clearance XL website on 12 February, wait a month, and contacted them through their website, saying I still have not received my order, no reply, I contacted them again about a week after saying I still haven’t received my order, no reply, then on 26th March received an email from DPD saying we are expecting your clearance XL parcel, so I thought great, kept checking DPD each day parcel not collected and still hasn’t, and has been canceled by the look at it by DPD, as it was never received. Not sure if this is a total scam or just incompetence. Considering they never replied to any email I am guessing the former. If they wish to reply, my number was. IN58787. Richard …. I don’t think I will both ever again with these good luck to people that actually received anything. Zero customer service, they will probably have an excuse. Beware.

Hi I only received my parcel today - which was a surprise as I ordered it on the 19th January.
The contents were amazing, lots of variety. Will order again.

waiting since January for it to arrive
I have been waiting since January for the package to arrive we are now in April, I have sent emails and tried phoning on multiple occasions with absolutely no response, I had an email saying "hope your enjoying it"... it hasn't arrived yet! disappointing because the children where waiting on it arriving over February half term as it was running late then.
I never received my item
I never received my item and chased vya chat function and email and didn't receive a reply.
Avoid at all costs
I ordered a cost of living package on the 1 February 26 and I am still waiting for the goods. I have attempted to call them numerous times but no answer, sent emails which have not been replied too. Absolutely disgusting that no one could respond.
