They DO NOT have good air conditioning…
They DO NOT have good air conditioning in the rooms. The only reason I booked at this hotel is because they promised me that they had air conditioning. During my brief stay, because I left early, the room temperature was more than 75F. I complained to the front desk and was told that the AC is TURNED OFF every night at 9 PM. Also, there is a sensor in the room. If you are not in the room, the AC automatically turns off. No one said anything about these practices when I booked the room. So, I requested a refund for the remainder of my stay and I was told, "For objective technical context, these temperatures fall within the summer indoor design range of 23°C to 25°C established by the Spanish Regulation on Thermal Installations in Buildings, known as RITE. Therefore, the available evidence does not show that the room was excessively hot or that there was a material failure of the accommodation service." In other words, they lied to get me to stay there. My advice: do not be deceived. They are under no obligation to cool your room below 75F even though the thermostat goes down to 65F. And it WILL BE HOT. So if you want a miserable night in the heat and humidity, you should stay here. Otherwise pick a hotel in town that will allow you to keep the temperature at a more comfortable 70-72F. Zero stars, except that I have to give at least one.
