We spent money with these guys two years running and they did put us in their directory, even with a special 'button' but we didn't get a single phonecall or email as a result. I can only conclude this directory is run for the benefit of the owners rather than being any serious attempt to create a useful network.
In August 2023 I group replaced three leaking Velux windows at a total cost of 6K and a 10 year warranty. In October 2023 one of these windows started leaking, the company inspected the roof and found that a piece of the frame had blown away during a storm. They then installed a temporary repair which consisted of a large piece of lead which did the trick. I spoke to the company on several occasions asking when the proper repair would take place. They then claimed that the piece of wood was part of a frame and that they had to order a frame for some £700 which they would not pay. I offered to share the cost which they accepted but the repair was not done. In January 2024 the same window started leaking again damaging the paintwork in the ceiling which had already happened after the original repair for which Igroup would not contribute. Despite numerous calls as the window was leaking nothing happened. In desperation I called in another roofer who found the missing piece of the frame in the gutter and repaired the window satisfactorily.
Igroup have proven totally dishonest and the flimsy temporary repair should not have been necessary had they attempted to find the missing part in the gutter.
They gave us aggravation for a whole year. The ceiling needed repainting, the furniture below was damaged. I sought the help of the confederation of roofing contractors who tried on numerous occasions to help us with IGroup but to no avail.
I highly recommend not to use this company!!!
