I had a Mitsubushi ASHP installed by Cotswold Energy just over a year old. It has performed fautlessly and has significantly reduced my energy bills as well as my carbon footprint. It has needed no attention except changes for holidays and the like which have been very easy to do. I was very impressed with the CE team during planning and installation and they worked seamlessly with the Green Shop who added PV and a Solar iBoost device. Wholeheartedly recommended and the more people who fit ASHPs the better.

Cotswold fitted an ASHP for us nearly two years ago, and over two winters we've had better heat around the house than before. Their estimate of costs and savings was made before the recent huge changes in gas and Electricity prices, but we've been glad to not need to burn any gas, and with the use of our solar panels, there seems to be a saving on our saving bills compared to how they would have been, though that's not easy to calculate with changing prices!
Cotswold did the job for us very efficiently and we have no complaints at all.

Cotswold Energy Group installed our air source heat pump 2 years ago, and we've never regretted the choice we made

I used Cotswold Heating, (CEG), to install an Air Source Pump in a house I built for my daughter. During the site visit There was no question of a hard sell, Robin fully explained my options for a green heating system and left me with all information to consider. The installation was carried out quickly, and effectively, with no mess left at its conclusion.
I was so impressed that I contacted the company to install another similar, but larger installation in the refurb of a house that I am project managing.

CEG selected for ASHP installation to replace oil boiler following recommendation from very satisfied friend and other other reviews.
We have a 1850s stone house with very thick walls, fairly well insulated but a slightly difficult layout as it was originally 3 terraced cottages.
The whole process with CEG was very straightforward. They responded vey quickly to my queries and suggestions and very happy to modify their design to suit our requirements.
The installation team were excellent - always arriving on time; they adapted to a late change that made life much easier for me, and were always willing to discuss what they were doing and suggesting options for us to consider.
It was quite a big job and so took 8 days to finish. There were a couple of minor hiccups at the start but these were soon resolved. Heating hasn't been used in anger as we've had a heatwave since it was installed, but I am amazed at how quickly the water is heated - and the heat pump is much, much quieter that we expected, it's difficult to hear.
The CEG Project Manager and senior engineer have always responded to my queries quickly and helpfully.
I can thoroughly recommend CEG for an ASHP installation.

Air Source Heat Pump Installation.
We are very happy with the work carried out. The installers were all very friendly and considerate, and installed the internal pipework effectively in spite of the difficulties in routing.

Brilliant service and easy to get to speak to the right person.
The system installed is very economic and with the software on your phone easy to control.
I would never think of going back to a gas boiler!
The house is a nice temperature 24/7!

I applied for a grant under the government's RHI initiative last April to install an ASHP. I decided to go with the quote I received from Cotswold Energy Group as they were the company that seemed the most professional, not least turning up at the appointed time to look at the property. CEG guided me through the process of applying and dealt with the queries from the government department. CEG were honest throughout, keen to make sure that I was switching to ASHP for the right reasons.
I have been pleased with CEG's after service also. I felt it was a little cold in the evenings at first and they were quick to come and tweek the settings to obtain a more satisfactory temperature. I reported an error code recently and they were very quick to respond to this.

In late 2021, we felt we needed to switch away from our current LPG heating to something more sustainable and cost effective. In 2015, we had looked at bio-mass when extending our cottage but did not have the space. We contacted several companies and it was very soon clear that CEG had the expertise and willingness to design and implement an Air Source Heat Pump solution in our Grade 2 listed building. They were friendly and helpful throughout. They designed a bespoke system accommodating the diverse construction of our home and significant retro-fitting needed. The proposal was clear and they were responsive to our questions. They assisted us with planning consents and talked us through everything. The implementation was also well managed and the team were polite and helpful, often working long hours to leave us as a family with hot water. We did have a few issues with air in the system causing noise initially but the fitters were back to resolve this quickly. We are exceptionally pleased with the ASHP. Have recommended to others who are also going ahead with their own projects.

We contacted three companies before selecting Cotswold Energy for our ASHP. They weren't quite the cheapest but the overall experience during the specifying and quotation period was excellent. Time was taken to explain the system, and requirements clearly and communication was excellent.

Having made our decision we were not disappointed with the overall service we received. The ASHP was delivered ahead of schedule and installed before the the initial anticipated date.

Like wise the install team were fast efficient workers and friendly too. The whole system was was installed and up and running in the week as planned but an extra day was required to complete the pipe work for the planned under floor heating in the new extension.

Overall the whole experience was a pleasurable one and i'm pleased with the performance of the ASHP.

Great friendly team to work with and our Mitsubishi heat pump has been an absolute god send and saved us a lot of money compared to the oil system we were on before. Would definitely recommend the company and the products they offer!

Replacement Heat Pump. Our 11 year old heat pump had failed and replacement parts were not available so we were without heating in March. CEG provided a good price compared to other suppliers and were also able to offer me the air source heat pump that I wanted "off the shelf" due to another customer having just changed their mind on system size. Installation was 2 weeks later and completed very neatly in less than a day. We now have a more controllable system that keeps us warmer than the previous ASHP. A year later we haven't had any problems at all.

After having looked into a number of options and suppliers we opted for CEG and had an ASHP installed in May.

The preparatory work in developing a solution was first rate with both Bronwen and Chris answering all the questions I had. They gave me the confidence that the instillation was planned to suit my circumstances rather than being the target of a salesperson, which had been the feeling gained from other suppliers.

Installation was over four days and completed to a high standard by the team who managed to fit the pipework into quite a small space still making it look tidy.

A minor blip in getting an Eddi power diverter to work with the system was quickly resolved by telephone.

Overall a really positive experience with CEG whom I would highly recommend

The air source heat pump and heating alterations installed by Cotswold Energy are generally working well but there were a number of issues, largely down to very poor internal communications, which mean that the system is not ideal.
Lack of communication between the survey team and the installers has meant that the pump could not be located where originally planned and a significant amount of ugly external piping has been left on show.
During the installation, quite a number of minor snags had to be rectified at later visits and workmen regularly turned up not at the time booked or not at all.
Since installation the system appears to work well apart from the holiday function which was reported not working in January and is still awaiting rectification.

We would recommend Cotswold Energy group. They installed our air source heat pump and underfloor heating. They turned up when they said they would, the workmanship was excellent and the after service has been excellent.

Replacing a heating system cannot ever be pain free in the middle of winter but I’m happy to say that Cotswold Energy did a brilliant job with our new Air Source Heat Pump - installed and commissioned on time with minimal disruption and inconvenience. The follow-up customer service, as we have been learning to tweak the new system, has also be very helpful, supplied with great patience and understanding as we’ve been getting to grips with the new technology. Faultless service 👍👍

Fantastic service, from the start of the process, site visit, planning and setting out the works needed, Zoe gave us all the help and support we needed. Sam, Josh and Archie did a first class install and were always considerate and happy to explain anything we didn't understand, James and the other electricians, Elliot who took us through how the system works and Aaron who oversaw the whole project - all did a great job and we would certainly recommend them for any Air source installation.

We had an AHSP fitted by CEG in Nov 2021 and have been very happy with the result, my wife declaring that she has been warm during the winter for the first time! In contrast to the many "cowboy" outfits around, CEG staff acted professionally at all times, including during the surveying, costing and plumbing work. It was a major job, so not without any problems (eg the original pump was unavailable at the last minute, there were a couple of leaks at the end of the job), but each time these issues were dealt with in a straightforward fashion that put the customer first. CEG made it easy to move from an oil boiler to an air source heat pump. We are very happy with the result - thanks very much CEG!
