After a slight hiccup as the fabric I had chosen was unavailable, I was offered a range of options. Having replied with an alternative I was notified that work would start. I anticipated 4 weeks but was pleasantly surprised when my completed curtains arrived within 2 weeks. Beautifully made and fit the window perfectly. Fantastic service, fantastic workmanship. I had two sets of curtains made which I hung today. They look spectacular and I am so pleased with them. They were made in the time they initially said and shipped quickly. They are beautifully made and I couldn't be happier.

Brilliant service and brilliant curtains. I had been told by a 'specialist' curtain company that they couldn't make curtains for our large apex window instead they recommend blinds for a huge cost. I found Curtains Made for Free and what a difference. I called for advice on the curtain tops, asked about having ties added to the top, checked regarding measurements (although their online instructions are really good.) Kay then contacted me to advise on the black out lining once they were being made as these curtains are vast and the kind I chose would have been too heavy. The curtains are fantastic - lovely quality material, black out, large enough for the massive window and to drape nicely. Robust ties at the top also. I couldn't recommend this company enough. And it came in at a 5th of the price I was quoted for the blinds I didn't want!

I purchased three pairs of long curtains under two orders in total from this company with blackout linings and whilst the first set was good but had a bit of a strange smell it faded after a couple of weeks so I purchased two more delivered in August 25 (now 7 months old).
Sadly, these two pairs smell rather unpleasant and I sent them an email which they initially ignored then sent another to which they asked 'what would you like us to do?' I asked them to either replace the curtains or pay for them to be dry cleaned as they are stinking out the house. Sadly they went quiet on me and I am not going to waste my time chasing them. However, it’s amazing how after 16 days of no contact on submitting this review they have immediately replied (does it really take 16 days 7 would be more appropriate). I accept their reply as it’s true it’s quite a while but, why ask what would you like us to do if too long had passed??? sadly life has just been rather hectic so it kept getting not dealt with.

Great website and some nice curtains. I’ve measured up for mine, filled in the details and paid. There’s always a 6 week wait for the curtains to be sewn, which was lucky for me because I’d measured wrong. A quick phone call sorted it all out and I received an email shortly after saying the curtains would be delivered the next day. Well wrapped in a box. I simply put my curtain hooks on them and hung them up. Absolutely perfect. Smooth service and a good price. I’m delighted 👌.
