DAVEY TREE has done several jobs for us, and we are always satisfied with the initial work and follow up. This morning Nick, Arron and George removed a tree and replanted another. They were very neat, shredded every bit of the old tree, worked diligently on the “bulb” to guarantee its best condition for a long life, and explained every step of the way. These men are professionals and provide outstanding work!

Very poor communication showed up blocking our entire alleyway when we had about a dozen semi trucks coming through that day with absolutely zero notice. After asking when they would be done, I got the. “We’ll be done when we’re done” response, pathetic.

I have been a Davey Tree client for many years.
The company has been attentive to my lawn care needs.
Eddie G. has been caring for my lawn for the last tree years. Today Eddie and I marveled at how beautiful and green the lawn looks despite our harsh 2025-2026 winter.
I am pleased with Davey’s service and I appreciate the care that Eddie and the other technicians take with my lawn.

Wanted to trim our front yard city tree. Got three quotes. One from davey tree which was about $300 more than the other two. We didn't go with either of the other two due to poor communication. One was very slow at responding to email, and the other didn't fully provide answers. We did not feel we could trust these companies to provide good service and good pruning on the tree. Davey tree rep. communicated well, shared a lot of information, answered our questions, and was willing to complete and submit the application for the city's tree pruning program. The customer service was great, and worth the extra cost.

Your crew trimmed my trees at 7017 Your Road, Abbottstown, PA on January 27, 2026, and I would like to thank you for sending the crew that you sent. Your men were very courteous and professional. I was amazed to see your men actually using leaf blowers and rakes to clean up with ten inches of snow on the ground. With the snow, they were not able to get it all; but what is left is very insignificant. These men deserve special acknowledgement as wonderful representatives of DAVEY TREE COMPANY!

Ridiculously expensive. Contract stated I was receiving an "8 foot" Crape Myrtle. I was given several prices for different sizes, choose the 8 foot, the tallest offered. Charge $775. for the tree. Without notice that I was not getting an 8 foot tree (for whatever reason), and a price adjustment made, a barely 6 foot tree was delivered. Called the salesman and he offered $200 off the price of the tree. Still means I'm paying $775, for a 6 foot tree??? CONTRACT NOT HONORED andI had to call to complain.

Jon Corzine and his staff at Davey Tree are displaying deplorable quality of service. Davey Tree did not complete the contract and are categorically refusing to take accountability. I am completely floored by this behavior.

I have trusted Davey for years, they were recommended to me by my father, he uses them too. They are professional and they will advise you professionally.

Terrible service. They destroyed my tree. They were supposed to trim it but whacked it up pretty badly. Even after complaining, they refused to come out and rectify the issue. Jason was very rude and unprofessional!

They did a great job with removing the tree, but when I tried to pay my bill online, they attempted to charge me $116.80 for using my debit card. Rather than tell me she could help me, the receptionist transferred me to someone's voicemail. I needed to get this done today and did not want to leave a voicemail. She kept asking for the same information over and over. I slightly raised my voice, but used the same polite and professional words I always use on the phone. But she wanted to lecture me and threaten to end the call.
I need more tree work done. Big trees that will cost way more than the limbs they removed. But rather than repeat what I just went through, I'll find someone else.

Davey Tree service charged my neighbor and my insurance company $32,000 to remove one tree and then proceeded to send me bill after bill after bill after bill after bill after bill after bill from August, until now, it is November. The insurance company has told me they have paid Davey, which I believe since they also paid my contractor who is fixing my garage. I have called them five times and I have never received a phone call back. Just research Davey Tree and lawsuits to find anything from wrongful death or murder and other problems not as terrible but that might help you decide you never want to do business with this company.

Davey removed a very large tree for us and they did an excellent job. We were very happy. We received 4 bids and they were very competitive. The workmen on site were great. I would highly recommend Davey tree, we have used them before and we are always very pleased.

Davey left a huge truck parked on my property over night without our permission. We were away due to no power after Helene, but neighbors informed us. Left my fence gate wide open, knocked down and destroyed my mailbox with the truck, and left garbage in my yard after I’d just cleaned up debris from the storm. Corporate were kind and seemed concerned-say they’ll replace my mailbox, but this is completely unacceptable. Potential customers need to know they don’t have respect for property. I’ll also be contacting the city of Savannah to find out if Davey was contracted by them because I don’t know why they were in my yard. No trees or power lines down. If my city contracted Davey, they’ll be hearing of this incident. It’s enough we have to deal with the aftermath of a storm without Davey trespassing and destroying our property.

We had to have a huge dead tree taken down. One company took it down.
Davy took the logs away. Davy's men were very nice and knowledgeable about the area where the tree was taken down. I thank them for explaining things to me. They did a good job removing the logs and debris. I believe in shout outs to people who deserve it. Here's a shout out to Wayne and Anthony😊. Two really nice guys!

The work was great & I have no complaints there, although communication was at times slow. My biggest problem is their online payment method and really poor user experience. The arborist texted me the quote and A link to confirm services and schedule the work. I had trouble logging in. I did not know my customer number because he never gave it to me. I also need an invoice number which I did not have. I had similar issues when trying to pay my bill. I was finally able to make a payment and thought I was done but later received a second invoice telling me I was past due. I feel that the website should have known the down payment invoice and the final payment invoice were for the same account and let me pay them together. Ultimately the experience was so frustrating that I now have a dim view of the company. I figure anyone can cut down a tree, so superior customer service and easy to use tech are what makes the company stand out.

The initial consultation was good, but then the outlined process I was told wasn't accurate. First, I was told that the initial felling, pruning, and stump removal would be on the same day. The tree planting would be later once it could be sourced. Then later it was the felling and prunign on one day, with the stumping and planting on a different day. In reality, the felling and pruning happened on one day as scheduled and things seemed to be good. I was given a day for when the planting would occur, but it that day came and went with nothing. I then left on vacation returning home to find out that they had done the stump removal without notifying me that they had scheduled it or that it had been done. Turns out they also destroyed one of my driveway lights while doing this having driven over it and smashing it to a pulp. They did call to notify me when they'd be by to plant the new tree and that went ok. Overall, the continual changing of the timeline and lack of communication were both off putting. The staff who did the work were good, but they really need to work on planning and communication.

I called this company based on their BBB profile. I asked their arborist, Alex Singletary, to give me a quote for removing a dying tree and also replace 2 trees. Although he arrived at the scheduled time, I never heard back from him with a quote. After 2 weeks of no response, I called his cell phone and left a message but he never returned my call. I waited another week and I called the company to let them know that I am leaving a bad review. Avoid this company and this arborist.
