Unreliable. Booked taxi night before to go to Lime Street Station. Next morning I waited but no taxi. Spoke with switchboard who said it had not even been accepted by a driver yet! Had to find alternative arrangements otherwise would miss my train.

Incompetent operators
Swithboard staff should listen to callers when they are booking taxis, and assume there is more than one person with the same name living in the same area, instead of being so certain that they have a booking to then only realise they sent one taxi to an airport collection, instead of two!
Demanding copies of identification and threatening to return a customer to the airport because the switch operator made quite a significant mistake is hugely inappropriate and unprofessional. I would not recommend this service, completely in competent.

After taking my nan to the hospital the delta taxi driver drove off when getting my nan out of the taxi, I was going back around to get my coat and bag off the back seat but he drove away.
I immediately called the company to tell them what has happend but was told they would. Or contact the driver and that there was a lost property form online I would have to fill in on my bag was my phone with lots of photos I will never get back.
Telephone staff where very rude i hope they find themselves in the same situation one time. I will never ever use there service again #boycottdelta
Thieving scumbag lowlife Delta driver.
My 17 year old daughter had her bag stolen by a thieving scumbag Delta driver. The driver arrived and she got into the taxi. She had to leave the car to hurry her boyfriend along and asked him to watch her bag. On returning she saw the taxi driving away across the car park. She immediately rang Delta taxis and told them what had happened. She was told to fill in a lost property form online and she asked them to contact the driver who she could see waiting at the lights. They said they could not contact the driver. She was left stranded with her bag, money, work pass etc in the taxi.
My wife rang the next day and was told that as the driver was self employed they could not do anything. They could not give any other details due to data protection.
Having had a business account for over 5 years I immediately closed the account.
Since then I have been using other taxi companies who let me know the drivers details and an emergency number to contact the driver.
I contacted the police and as usual they couldn't be bothered and said as there was no proof they wouldn't take further action. They never attempted to contact Delta for his details to even try to get his reasons for leaving her.
All in all after reading previous reviews I can only gather that Delta taxis are above the law and can do whatever they want without fear of any repercussions.
So to the local Delta driver in the silver car I hope you enjoy the cash and one day you will get your just rewards you thieving low life.
Please do not use Delta as they are a law unto themselves.

Had taxi booked for 11-45 7/9/19, had to ring back wen didn’t arrive after 5 minutes late, which expected. On ringing again after a few times not getting through, a very diligent lad told us a human error had taken place and taxi had been booked for 1pm instead of 1am😡
Lad was apologetic, and can’t blame him at all.
Have had several taxis charging £1 extra than usual price, which is done on every night. Sadly have to say this is usually foreign drivers who have overcharged. Not saying all, but most. Delta has got a lot to answer for with who their employing, and complaints their recieving on these issues.
Delta taxis has gone right down the Nick the last few years.

I booked the taxi with Delta taxis in advance from Liverpool Line street as I had a very tight timescale for a meete. My train was 4 minutes late arriving. I found my taxi where he refused to take me as he said that he had phoned me and I was late! No missed phone call on my phone! I explained my lack of time but he said he had another fare so tough. Not impressed. Found a black cab Daves Taxi who was brilliant - use him 07708256164
Bad service
Used Delta taxis a couple of times recently and not impressed at all. Drivers just really unprofessional and unpleasant. Driver didn’t know where we were going but don’t they have SatNav? Also, completely ignored women in the back who had the directions. You would think a Liverpool driver would have some idea of the road names in Liverpool city centre.Delta used to be a good reliable firm, not anymore. Will not be using again as do not want to be driven by these strange people.

Locked out of her house for 3 hours in the cold they refused to return it to her new locks on her house after 4 calls asking them to return it to her ASAP but they refused, heartless and after 7 days still not returned it.
After all it was their fault driving off!!

my 72 yr old mum got out the taxi the driver drove off with her shoping trolly in the boot called delta said fill in an online form she is 72?? I done this for her said she wud have to pay £8 to bring it back even though not her fault he drove off?? 6days of sitting in and waiting still no trolly numerous phone calls to delta but said not there problem its lost property??? disgusting treatment mum stressed has her medicated cream, glasses shopping ect and of course the trolly itself so cant shop without it..

Dont arrive at the booked time and rude switchboard.
I booked a cab to take us from a venue to Lime St, agreeing the time for pick up. 10 minutes after the cab was due but had not shown up, I called Delta. The man on the switchboard was unhelpful and rude. He said they couldn’t guarantee an arrival time. When I told him that we had a specific train to catch and needed the cab straight away he said that we should have booked it earlier. I told him that if it had arrived at the agreed time we would be ok and he just continued telling me we should have booked it earlier. We were then forced to walk to the station (in the rain and in a strange city, knowing that we would now miss the train) Luckily we were able to flag down a decent taxi and made the train (with 1 minute to spare). DREADFUL SERVICE from Delta.

Was waiting for a taxi around 11am outside broad green hospital on 19/7/19 a lady before me was getting in a taxi the lady appeared to have learning difficulties. It was raining heavy the driver put the ladies walking aid in his boot, then jumped into his seat while the lady was stood there asking for help as she couldn't open the door to get in the taxi, the driver just looked at her and stayed in his seat. The poor woman was getting soaked it took a by stander which was me to go over and help her into the taxi... which she was very grateful for. LORD only knows how she got back out the taxi with that ignorant driver. Very unprofessional service

Lots of angry drivers
Lots of angry drivers, drive around like maniacs speeding and getting aggressive towards anyone that gets in their way. Seen drivers on shift with passengers beeping, shouting, swearing and sticking their middle fingers up at other road users. After reporting this to delta they stated that all drivers are self employed and if they’re doing something illegal you should report it to the police, but they have no interest themselves in their own drivers behaviour.

Very poor service from two taxis when we stayed in Liverpool. The first one didn't know any of the places we wanted to go to and when we said we didn't come from Liverpool, his response was 'neither do I'. What sort of cowboy taxi service is this? Have they never heard of a SatNav?? The second one just didn't show up even though we had confirmation of the booking and a reference number! Will never use again if I come back to the beautiful city of Liverpool.
Lost property or stolen property?
My son left a iPhone in a Delta taxi. I called the office and was told I can only report this via a web form. I filled this in and waited. I was told, "sorry, we can't find it". That was it. I asked if the driver had any customers after my son was dropped off only to be told that answering this would be a data breach. RUBBISH. I didn't ask for any information other than WAS there a customer afterwards. They are avoiding any basic information to help a customer trace an expensive phone left in their taxi. If there were no customers after my son used this taxi then all fingers point to the driver strange they will not assist in any way!

DO NOT USE DELTA TAXIS
I've used Delta for years and I can't believe how they have treated me. On Saturday I left my phone in a Delta Taxi, I rang Delta from my friends phone 20 seconds after getting out of the taxi and asked if they would ring the driver and ask him to stop as he was still on my road. They refused to contact the driver as it's not their 'process' for lost items. They made me submit an online form, which I got an immediate response saying that the phone hadn't been found, despite me only leaving the phone in the taxi minutes before. They don't take responsibility for their drivers actions as they say their drivers are self-employed so they're not responsible for them- basically allowing drivers to steal your property with no repercussions. I've not had my phone returned and have received NO help from Delta other than an email saying they cannot assist me further.
