Couldnt give a minus review so added 1 star !!
Completely over trying to get a response from customer services, just even an acknowledgement that is not an automated excuse , (blaming the hardworking self employed workers) for massively incompetent business practices. This is not the first time the service has been substandard (again not because of the hardworking drivers ) lack of care for customers, and a massive deterioration in what they deliver ! Delta are not the only taxi business in Liverpool, I personally after today will never be using them again ! I will not go into details because I have already sent direct messages , unanswered to the ??? CS ??, yes Customer Services ? does that even exist with Delta ?
I remember when Delta were the only choice , a great company, disappointing on all levels Delta !

I ordered a Delta taxi on the 20th…

I ordered a Delta taxi on the 20th April to take me to lime Street station I asked the driver if I could pay by card and he said yes the fair was around £7 I put my card on the machine contactless payment and got out of the taxi. Later in the day I checked my on line banking and seen an amount for £71 for today checked it and it gave a person's name of which I did not recognise so I rung my bank and they told me it was a contactless payment and I told them I hadn't bought anything for £71 and have been travelling on a train to see my son they told me it was done at 10.30 that morning then I realised the driver must have made a mistake rung Delta taxis to tell them but could only speak to a booking operator who told me to email customer services of which I did right away I got no reply whatsoever so I got back in touch on the 23rd saying to them I was going in to my overdraft and any charges will be down to them they then replied and said the driver made a mistake and apologises and the money will be put in to my account within 5 working days this has still not been put in as far as I can see but you can't talk to anyone about it I have left my phone number on the email so they could contact me but they won't I will now be looking to take this further. DO NOT USE DELTA TAXIS.

Trust pilot

Trust pilot , can you consider allowing minus scores , it suits my review.?
I am more than £400 out of pocket because of Delta, I pre booked an early pick up (5am)to get a train from Lime Street, i even allowed an extra 20 mins in case they were late , all you get is "the driver is on his way" , ...just tell me you have not got a driver ,happened twice now.
Delta , dont take the business

If I could give a

If I could give a - 5 I would !!!!!! I was driving a 40mph road and one of your delta taxis pulled out when I was doing 40 which is very dangerous. When I beeped the man put his finger up to me. I don’t tolerate abuse and swearing. The registration number is NG16 WXL. I have video evidence of this as well as pictures. When I rang delta taxi to inform them the lady was very rude and abrupt and put the phone down on me when I asked could I report the incident. I will be taking this matter further. Vile behaviour which should not be tolerate within your company. Vile people and vile company never use or book DELTA TAXI.

Very Poor Customer Care

My friend is quite disabled. She walks with the aid of a walker and struggles after a few yards. She uses this company for every trip she has to make. We met for lunch yesterday. When we left the restaurant we phoned Delta for a cab. They refused to pick her up due to the location of the restaurant. Outside of the restaurant is a pull in marked TAXI and big enough for two cars. This is where Delta dropped her off. The female operator was rude. the males said there was a fine for stopping in the space marked TAXI. While I was talking to them a number of private hire cabs stopped there, including a Delta cab. We had to struggle across town. My friend was almost in a state of collapse. Absolutely appalling service.

No customer service whatsoever

Would have given a minus score if I could.
Tried to book a taxi last night, the male operator was rude and very unfriendly. Told no taxis available in an abrupt and almost hostile manner.
Customer service appalling

Utterly ridiculous - avoid

Utterly ridiculous. Booked a taxi a day in advance to get to Lime street station for an early train. I rang after it was late... with the response ‘it’s booked, we’re just trying to find you a driver’.
Do not accept the booking until you have a driver, surely!? I could have gone elsewhere if I’d known.

Left me in utter limbo and missed my train at. Cost of £125 to get a new ticket.

A shambles.

I am a delta driver for 12 years it’s a disgrace it’s gone down hill why the owner Paul McLaughlin is a greedy man in the pandemic he charged xtra money to drivers when there was no work an family’s struggling he also brags he gets £55.000 a week of late payments an if ye don’t have a card reader so most drivers left because of this ye never get a answer never get to speek to someone including (him the owner they are now waiting on Wolverhampton council for a licence so drivers can come here to Liverpool to work . Also he charges ye for not having pets in ye car last time I did I had two jack russels in an ruined me car coukd not get the hairs out cost me £100 to get it all out who picked up the bill me not him an has the cheek to charge me £10 a week for not havin pets it’s a disgrace an he is one greedy greedy man that should be my choice also charges me £10 for not havin a card reader then ye get people in sayin can I pay by card .( no I don’t have one so there getting a free ride am out to work to earn a living it’s a joke it’s a disgrace an that little excuse of a man is greedy as ye like seeye delta so stick ye company up ye bum Uber or alpha here I come they have gone so much down hill it’s money money money listen to ye workforce in future greedy hole

Ultimimate irrisponsible

Ultimimate irrisponsible. The world is on its knees because of covid. On journey through conversation driver stated that he wasnt vaccinated wasnt going to wear a mask. This driver is risking the lives of everyone he picks up. This should ne illegal. Hope i see him when im driving.
Pathetic that a company tolerates this selfish behaviour.

Never book a delta taxi

Extremely disappointed every time my husband or I have booked with delta taxis. The drivers customer service is shockingly poor. They have never arrived at the correct pickup location. When we have challenged the drivers when they call us, they disagree and cancel the job. They never apologise for their mistakes and there is no way to send in a complaint about the job. Delta taxis, you should be completely ashamed! Utterly unprofessional.

Dissapointing

I booked a taxi through the app last night to take my friends home. Burnley to Crosshills. We were charged and prepaid £25 which was the same as were charged when we did this journey a month ago. Half way into the journey the driver told my friends the price was £50. They understandably challenged this as we had already paid the app prescribed amount of £25. The driver was insistent and in the end took an additional £10 in cash from them otherwise he was going to drop them in Cowling. V disappointed with this service. We have used your firm a number of times but will not be doing so again.

Good morning have i bad experience with delta driver, first show them post code , hi start driving wrong way , i say tvice is wrong , hi say i dont need teach him how to drive , then i say stop let mi out . Finaly i pay 8 pound for nothing. Completely wron way . Car number: NU63MJY blue number 5732.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service. Waited half an hour for a pre-booked taxi. Received a text phone in hand, walked straight outside and the driver's already disappeared. Phoned up to complain and pretty sure the operator pretended not to be able to hear me and hung up. Never again.

the 2 stars are for the nice clean taxi…

the 2 stars are for the nice clean taxi drivers i’ve had but there’s very few.. had a dirty taxi with a foul smell and dog hair everywhere, also had a booked taxi which still didn’t turn up 1 1/2 hours later so cancelled and got a metro within 15 mins! hackney taxis are now my go to as delta don’t seem to have the drivers and when they do they’re late or unclean cars and a lying meter!

Not reliable and rude

Absolute joke, don't see point in a booking system if the taxi can not be there on time for booking booked a taxi at 8.20 to be here for 8.45 ready for school run I rang delta at 8.45 asking where my taxi was his reply was its round corner 2 or 3 min I then rang back 3 min later he said the same thing, every couple of minutes I rang to see where it was got the same reply everytime, it then got to 9 o'clock my taxi still wasn't there and my child was then late for school, the taxi didn't show till 9.10 absolutely fuming! Not reliable at all! And so rude!!!!!.

As a Delta driver for 7 years I am dismayed about the reviews I've read....But you must remember people are only driven to comment about a bad experience..I know Delta aren't perfect but most of the complaints I hear are about a few bad drivers...As for people saying their driver has been and gone..We are required to ring the customer and wait at least 3 mins at the pick up point..So if you order a taxi stay off your phone and answer it when we ring you.Most of us will give you an extra few minutes then..You must understand that I'm not going to sit outside somewhere for 5 mins after no answer when there are other jobs available.Plus..The bogey jobs are a problem.. Please just cancel if you don't require a taxi anymore...We spend a lot of time on bogeys especially at weekends. The less bogeys the quicker we can get to you....Thanks I hope you'll use Delta

Tbh it varies

Tbh it varies. I've got both the apps and every time I've tried that priority booking thing you just get a circle going round with a couple of dots on it. I'm guessing that they're supposed to be drivers in the area but they don't move so I'm kinda puzzled on that one. If we book a taxi for a certain time then they should be there at that time. That's the whole idea of booking isn't it ?
