Worst company ever! They lie about ringing you to say they can't find you ( in my house ffs!) Absolutely don't give a dam about customer service as they know with the pandemic people are reliant on taxis. Ordered one at 5:15pm for 6pm still waiting at 7:20 ffs absolutely useless

Absolutely shocking lately, used to be great most of the time but now you just cant trust them. Heard all kinds of excuses from the agents, who I feel sorry for because it'll be them that lose their jobs first.

As an example, I booked a taxi 3 HOURS in advance the other day to get to an appointment, got to the time slot and still didnt have a car another hour later. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, then got let down again on the next time I tried them. Never again. The drivers are usually alright but I've also had 2 try and bump me in the last 2 weeks taking mad routes even I'd told them which way I wanted them to go. Gone right down the pan over the past few months, if you can, use Alpha, or anyone else, they are bound to be a million times more reliable and actually turn up when they say they will.

gave up waiting and took the car on sunday. used to be a great service, what's happened.

Currently working at delta taxis merseyside as a private hire driver. The supervisors talking to drivers only when there is a problem and talking to drivers like talking to a dog. There is so many things to pay before you earn a penny for yourself . Delta settle is £110 / week, car £180 and it can go over £200 per week , plus £100 diesel ( if you work 60+hours) . So thats around £390 before you earn a penny . It worked out the takings you take minus expences you get £8 per hour ( no tips as much is card payments + account friendly work) So after paying tax ( as you are self employeed) you will get £6 per hour nett . Take into account that you dont get paid for sick leave or holiday . Means you rate goes even more down . Cleaning , washing a car weekly is another expence out of your pocket. Many delta drivers who have their own cars like mercedes, bmw etc are conected with drug dealers and they are using delta taxis just for their private drug runs/deliveries and drops on a daily basis . Many of them are doing it on a daily basis , if you earn £6 per hour you cant earn to buy a car £15000 or more worth it’s just not possible.
Many delta drivers left them who doesnt belive me go to these settle companies monday-friday you will see how many cars are parked outside their garages / units , one of them is Aintree settle cars they have 20+ cars novody drives them. Also there is 50 jobs per car that means there is no drivers and people waiting for ages for delta taxi to arrive.
Ask your friends or call a delta to see how long will you wait . They are offering cheap zonal settle ‘’ as little as £20 ‘’ per week . You can check this on twitter and their web site . If you go cheap £20 per zone they will give you access to Southport or Skmersdale area etc nobody will ever call you there. Or Wirral , Warington , Chester etc ....
All the jobs are in Everton, Liverpool , Bootle to get that you must pay £110 week.
Stay away from Delta taxis Merseyside as this is a modern slavery company.
They destroyed taxi industry in Liverpool with cheap start flag fare £2,70 etc . Now they trying ti take over Wirral to destroy local companis like Argal Satelites cars etc . But it will not happen been there and seen they have no chance.
Managment in delta are ex taxi drivers who talk to drivers without respect at all as well with customers telling them porkies and lies .
unles you want to deliver dxxx for local deaxxxx under the delta shield . Othervise you got no chance to make earnings on a nice honest way .

So bad dive had no clue were he was going and was not nice at all. Don't use them

We have been using delta taxies for few years, they seem to be hit and miss, they are unreliable, they have a booking system which is pointless, and are good at telling Porkies, why if i book a taxi 24 hours in advance, the why is it difficult for them to have a taxi available for the booking? It's just a system that doesn't work, delta need to get the system sorted. I'm so bloody annoyed that they constantly let their customers down , time after time.ehx is it so difficult for your taxi that you booked 24hours in advance not arrive at that time to pick you up? Some one needs a proverbial boot up the backside, they really do! No more delta taxis for us , can't deal with the stress and fibs, and the attitude of some of the switch operates, and rude couldn't care less if I'm late, taxi drivers, I'm not saying all delta staff and drivers have awful attitudes, just a minority, who don't do the firm any favours.

I use to love delta but then drivers became rude locking you in when they would try and over price you. Then to top it off recently I ordered a taxi twice over app and payed by card when I finished shopping I rang up delta paid cash and got a notification through my phone saying my card been charged so I rang them and they blamed my bank. There charge your card what ever they want and even worse you can't remove your card.
These taxis need a complaint putting in through the council.

An absolute danger to society. I’ve had SEVERAL Delta taxis crash into me. I’ve had countless near crashes with Delta’s. I’ve witnessed other people’s crashes with Delta’s, I’ve witnessed hundreds of near crashes with Delta’s. They drive around the city like they own the place and like the law doesn’t apply to them, putting other drivers, passengers and pedestrians at risk. They have no regard for safety and I genuinely worry for the people who use their services, and for the other drivers these imbeciles encounter. NEVER EVER EVER BOOK WITH DELTA YOU WILL BE PUTTING YOUR SAFETY AT RISK!!!!! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER TAXI COMPANIES IN THE CITY WHO DRIVE CAREFULLY WHO DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM.

Booked a taxi to come back home from my sons after a party. I have done this journey several times and the fare is always under £15. The driver wanted me to pay him £34. He must of thought he had a right to rip me off because I was drunk. I told him know way was he getting £34. I agreed to pay him £17 and that was more than it usually was. He agreed and l payed with contactless. I have checked my bank this morning and the thief of a driver had stolen £23. This is not the first time Delta drivers have tipped me off after a night out. I have used Delta taxis all my adult life but that the lot for me. I would never use them again.
BE WARNED. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF IF YOU HIRE A DELTA TAXI.

I booked way ahead for my time and they still couldn’t get me a taxi. What is the point of booking ahead?? No reasonable explanation as to why it was running late other than they couldn’t get me a taxi even though I called hours beforehand. I could have missed my hospital appointment. I called Alpha taxi, they told me how long they’ll be and they got there in time. I recommend Alpha 5 stars to them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *Alpha*

I use a taxi sometimes for work and the drivers have been punctual and courteous, no complaints at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Wearing no mask, no windows down nor no evidence of care to COVID! Complained to where I had asked him to go as he just returned from that place. On the phone I asked for a card machine, in the car I was made go to a ATM and withdraw money as the guy had no cash to put petrol in his car!!! Sorry but as a taxi driver that is your resource to complete your job, having petrol!! Also charged double the amount of the usual fare. Whilst the driver was talking he was spitting everywhere and there was no protection for myself! I felt very on edge and vulnerable as he had made it aware his car would stop if it had no petrol! The man was very unprofessional in my opinion and I will never use the company again!! Use UBER for a better, professional and clean service.

The most of the drivers are very stressed. That's why I think the management of this company is very bad.
Causes? The bosses probably have no experience. And perhaps that is why the leadership nepotism is the main culprit. For the management the money matter more than the drivers? This could be also a possible cause.
On the other hand, I don't understand why the drivers don't leave and work for other companies if they are so irritated and really such unpleasant behaviors.

Driver pulled up, not wearing a mask. I asked them if they wore one & they basically laughed at me.
ZERO public safety awareness.
Will NEVER use Delta again & will tell anyone I know to avoid at all costs.

Who ever read this review, my advise is just avoid this taxi company. Use Alpha or Uber.
Rude driver, my gosh! You are just a taxi driver not a pilot.. why you're so arrogant. If you have a problem at home, leave it at home..don't vent your frustration on your customer.
This is not the first time I've experienced this situation.
AVOID this taxi company.. professionalism: Zero!

Knocked a dog over didn't stop
One of your driver's hit as little dog on the road in Norris green yesterday and did not stop.
This is disgusting
If they don't stop them if you think they are going to sanitise the cab or drive respectfully and follow rules then.you are mistaken.

I booked my taxi early morning and accidentally cancelled delta being delta I though they would be ok as they have been good and cheap !! However a man rung me up stressing saying why I cancelled I explained by accident and he said u can’t order from here order somewhere else now I’m in a rush with only the money I had to get to work !!! No taxi does it this cheap !! Defiantly loosing my custom now so rude

Ordered a taxi for my friend at 11pm and we waited half an hour before calling them back to see where our taxi was, they said they didn't know and they put us on high priority and told us to ring back if it didn't come within 5 minutes, we waited 10 minutes and rang again asking where it was, the man said he didn't know and my friend asked how long it would be and he said he can't guarantee how long, the man hung up on us and was rude and wouldn't tell us his name, then after 40 to 50 minutes of waiting we rang again and asked where it was, one still hadn't been sent out and we ended up ordering from uber which only took a minute to find and only 3 minutes to arrive!!

Booked a taxi last night.
Was called 5 mins later to say he would arrive by the driver.
Stood at front door ,taxi slowed down as if looking for door number ,then drove off. Called the number he had phoned me on twice straight away,but declined to answer. (Rubbish service)

Great company, left mobile in taxi and driver dropped it off 1 hour later for free. Drivers courteous and helpful
