I'm a man who was suffering with a recurrent UTI which turned into prostatitus. The NHS tests repeatedly failed to pick my infection on urine tests which lead to me being prescribed the wrong anti biotics on and off for months which resulted in me being very ill for a long time. When I heard about digital microbiology I was at my wits end. Very straight forward and super fast turn around revealed I had a severe ecoli infection and that I should take ciprofloxacin. I had initially asked for these from my doctors 6 months previous but was refused as they said "it's like bleach and we don't prescribed it anymore" even though I've been treated with it for previous infections.
Low and behold a 2 week course finally cleared the infection and I'm basically back to 100% ok. Can't thank them enough. Without that test I'm pretty sure I'd still be getting fobbed off from doctors and consultant and still suffering. Many thanks

The customer service at Digital Microbiology was outstanding, they demonstrated great flexibility allowing me to hold onto a test kit for a while before returning it in case I didn't need it. They also allowed me to redo a test so that I could give myself the best chance of a positive result. I felt they were on my side in getting my UTI properly diagnosed. Couldn't recommend more!

I've been suffering from UTI like symptoms for almost two years, and like many others was at a loss with the testing methods and research available. The test provided by Digital Microbiology came speedily with clear guidance and with a return package enclosed, which when posted on the same day, was received at the lab the day after. I then received my results a day and a half later.

I had a few follow up questions, which Nick Parkinson, the Scientific Director, responded to personally, and not only answered all of my questions with detail and clarity in a highly professional yet warm manner, but went out of his way to chase the results in order to provide me additional information.

I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for clear test results with an actual breakdown of their biome, as it's providesd me with some hopeful next steps, and am highly thankful for both Nick and the team for going above and beyond.

Excellent service - detailed results and follow up. Very quick results too. Discovered yeast that’s not identified in regular HSE/NHS tests. I’ll be able to get treated now and hopefully be rid of these recurrent UTI for once and for all!

Really efficient service, test results came through within 2 days, understandable for patients as well as medical professionals. Superior to other culture testing I've used previously. The testing picks up on unusual yeasts/bacteria as well as common pathogens. Highly recommend.

I found this company through another Web site. I didn't even know you could obtain a test like this. Its well worth the money for peace of mind. My own experience was my recent culture test was showing the all clear but I knew something was wrong still. This test has confirmed the bacteria is still present when I was under the impression that it had gone. I really wish the NHS would recognise this testing as so many people suffer with UTIs it would save them a fortune in the long run. The company and the staff are fantastic. The customer service is excellent. After suffering with ongoing issues, which I had been to the GP, clinic and the hospital on the NHS for with absolutely no answers and being fobbed off, I decided to try this. The test arrived the next day, which arrived in discreet packaging. Has easy to follow instructions. I posted it back and it arrived back at the lab the following day (they email to say they received it). It only took another day after that to receive the results! The results identified what was actually wrong and all my symptoms checked out. I can now use this to speak to a doctor and then get the right treatment. In addition Nick the clinical lead responded to my queries and even took the time to double check my results and provide me with a little more context. I can't recommend them high enough.

What can I say other than a fabulous service by kind and caring professionals. Cannot recommend them enough. When normal NHS testing just doesn't get to the bottom of the problems, the comprehensive testing results give GP's and health professionals valuable information to target treatment.

I was desperate to try a Digital Microbiology test as soon as I heard about them. The results came back very quickly and pinpointed some ongoing issues. I had some further questions which were thoroughly addressed immediately. I cannot recommend this service enough. Thank goodness we don't have to rely the poor NHS testing any more. This company is a game changer.

Amazing Company!
Prior to finding SBL labs i had been trying to get to the bottom of my CUTI using American testing with results not the most reliable and a pain with the postage and waiting time .
Im so glad I found this company Nick has been such an amazing help with testing and explaining in detail how it all works etc.
Very knowledgable in what they do and it comes across in their service and communication.
When you have been suffering with a CUTI for so long and been painfully batted about in all different directions by specialists etc to find a testing company so reliable, dedicated and compassionate is a just a god send.
My only problem is I wish I had found them sooner!
Everyone should know about these guys and hopefully the NHS will get on board soon as they are the top of the league in testing.

This is a great and well-needed service. Their turnaround time to post tests and to give results is excellent, it helps very much how quick it is to have a service like this in the UK when struggling with symptoms. Their customer service is brilliant in my experience, my questions have been thoughtfully and promptly answered by professionals.
The only negative is the price is quite high and unreachable for many, I think this is due to the technology being new and hopefully will reduce as this technology becomes more commonplace.
The testing includes antibiotic sensitivity testing and is likely the fastest most comprehensive test available in the UK. If you are suffering from UTI symptoms or vaginal symptoms, this is probably the best test to do.
I feel quite confident in this test to identify the majority of what is going on.

My bladder problems started 4 years ago out of the blue, I was told by a specialist in London I had a chronic UTI. I had a variety of UTI tests from other companies including one in the US (I'm in the UK) but the results were so inconsistent, I also wasn't happy with the length of time they were taking to not only test my samples but also to get back to me with results. Once this company opened up in the UK I thought I'd try them, I've done multiple tests with them now and through these and their consistency we managed to pinpoint what was actually causing my infection once and for all. The results always came back so quickly. Not only this the customer service is amazing, they genuinely care and are such a lovely team. I really can't recommend them enough.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Not only is it the fastest way to get accurate results for any bladder or vaginal symptoms, this is a company who really care about the people they are helping and strive to ensure their product is the best. I feel in really good hands using their testing and it has helped me massively on my health journey. Thanks to this lab I now have a diagnosis after being in pain for over a decade and I have hope I will get better as I can now treat my issue properly. Do not hesitate to use this company if you have bladder or vaginal symptoms, they are incredible.
