What I would like to say about DIRECT BULLION is that when I first spoke to GERRY O'BRIEN he guided me through graded gold coins that he thought would do well as an investment and so far he been bang on the button. So I am really grateful for all the help,and would definitely have no problem recommending him to my friends

I was reviewing my work place pension and was very disappointed with what I saw over the last few years. I was thinking of investing in Gold but thought It would be a frightening experience. After talking to Gerry O'Brien for what seemed like forever (sorry Gerry I had a lot of questions) he explained the in and outs of how the gold is safely stored until such a time I decided to sell. I found my experience with Direct Bullion is worth the 5 Star rating, keep up the good work Gerry.
At the time of writing this review my pot is up 7.5%, prices can go down as well as up but I will always have my own pot of GOLD.

Unsolicited emails. I've tried unsubscribing - I never signed up in the first place - but they're big time spamming me.

I would like to retract my previous review. My initial experience was not the best. However, Chris has taken over my account; alleviated the problem and delivered my order as promised. I am now happy to continue doing business with DB thanks to Chris.

I paid for Charles 111 Crowned gold coins. Very good at promises but not with deliveries. Been waiting since 20 July for my order. Excuses, excuses, excuses. Do not answer phone calls or emails. Now asking bank to intervene and reporting them to the police.

Communication is poor after payment received, this company could not give a delivery date, repeatedly failed to call back after promises to do so, and when pressed for a delivery date, they could only respond blaming me for not being patient. They received payment from me nine days ago and I still cannot get a delivery date. Good news the goods arrived on the 6th September nearly one month after I paid. Just glad it's over

As a new purchaser of gold bullion, I naturally had a lot of questions.

I wanted to take control of my own pension pot so recently purchased some gold to invest into my SIPP.

The staff at Direct Bullion couldn't have been more helpful. They have a no nonsense approach and I appreciated not being given the "hard sell".

Having monitored the value of the gold for 6 months, the gold I purchased has outperformed my actual workplace pension scheme.

Having bought a number of gold coins 5 years ago from Direct Bullion we decided to take a profit. My Account Manager Chris contacted the Buybacks Team and quickly provided a price that we were happy with, a profit of £650 per coin. It only took a few days to send coins and receive payment directly to my account. Great service.

I am an absolute novice at buying precious metals as a personal investment. I spent a long time researching companies and I have been procrastinating because of my concerns. Then I found Direct Bullion and especially James Byrne who is now my account manager. The company has proved to be a safe place to buy and James Byrne is an excellent account manager who has guided me through precious metals purchasing with great knowledge of the market and went the extra mile (or more) to advise and inform without the rediculous ultra sales pitches from over confident and over zealous sales people. Great firm, really good service, i was actually very impressed. Recently retired and wasn't sure what to do with my payout, gold seemed safe and tax-free which i was not aware.

The whole process took me about 3 weeks from start to finish. I took delivery of my coins and bars this morning and they look so much better in your hand than any online image.

I can't find any fault really so good all round.
