Distinctive Windows and Doors Ltd Reviews 

This company were highly recommended to me but having been let down & almost ripped off by other companies, I was slightly dubious.

My fears were put to one side as soon as I met Angie. She turned up on time, was professional, friendly, & gave me honest advice, together with ideas to maximise the light in our conservatory whilst saving money.

The quote was literally half of all the other providers so again, I was a little nervous. However, I need not have been. The fitters were fantastic, they removed our old, ugly conservatory & replaced it with a striking, modern one, complete with a tiled roof, floor to ceiling windows (stunning!) & velux windows.

The fitters worked their socks off, sweltering in the August heat, always with a smile on their faces. They were a joy to have around. Each day they told and showed me what they’d done & left the place spotless (the sign of a good tradesperson is one who takes their shoes off when they enter your house…& these guys did!).

I had an issue with the French door but Angie came round and fixed it on the same day, very impressive.

The conservatory looks amazing and I am delighted. I would recommend them and am looking forward to working with them again on our next home improvement project 😊

We’ve Just had a tiled roof fitted on the conservatory with 2 velux windows Ange came out and gave us a no fuss price Shaun the fitter was polite punctual and had an eye to detail all in all an excellent job.

An excellent job from start to finish. The service was first class from the quote from Kev who explained the process in detail. The process including timescale and price was exactly as stated. Shaun who fitted our patio door was extremely tidy and a perfectionist.

I had nine windows and a front door fitted I must say that I am perfectly satisfied with the quality of service and products provided. The fitter ,Darren, was a really nice guy , very competent in what he was doing and nothing was too much for him , a very helpful and nice guy . There was a manufacturing fault with the hinges of one of the windows , Kevin and his team were very apologetic and quick to rectify the problem . Overall I was very impressed with the quality of work and product provided and would definitely recommend Distinctive Windows

Outstanding from start to finish.
I had my conservatory roof replaced for the wooden insulated type.
Angie was a pleasure to deal with and her team of 3 fitters never stopped grafting for the 2 days it took to complete.
I'm amazed already at the difference it has made to the feel of the room.
It now really feels like a room that belongs with the house.
It's to early to say how much difference the insulated roof will make to my heating bills but surely it will be better than the polycarbonate that I had.

It's now a month on since completion & already I notice a big difference in room temperature!
A few times I have switched on my oil filled radiator & I can honestly say the new roof makes a massive difference in retaining the heat, the conservatory is now truly a room to be used all year round.
So pleased I had it done.

We advertised that we required a cost efficient solution to replacing our ultralight 500 conservatory roof that made the room unusable for most of the year, as either 100 degrees plus in summer or very cold in winter. There was also a small hole on an external section. The advert was placed on a trade website. In total four companies responded of which two quoted based on photos and two quoted based on visiting the property, of which one was Angela from Distinctive Conservatory Insulation Systems, who was also  the quickest to respond to the advert and also visit. We explained to Angela that we plan to move in the next three years so didn't want to spend a lot on a significant conservatory project. Angela explained the different options and showed photos of work previously done that mirrored her suggestions, whilst listening to what we required.  In the visit there was no pressure applied to sign up, as we explained we would be getting other quotes. Once all in, we choose to go with Angela's proposed solution because a) she listened to our requirements b) she was personable and not trying to force a sale c) the solution was significantly cheaper than other quotes (NB one was approx £1k more expensive for a similar  solution and the other two didn't listen to our requirements and proposed expensive solutions).
We agreed a date for the work to start and received messages confirming when the workmen would be arriving (NB we live in Stafford, Staffs and they were traveling from Accrington, Lancs). Sean and Dillian arrived and completed the job super efficiently to a high quality. What was nice, was they were personable, friendly and polite. When you made them a drink they were very thankful. What was also welcomed is they kept the site tidy everyday before leaving..sweeping up and gathering the materials in one place, which then allowed space for our dogs to go in the garden in the evening. At the end of the job Angela did ring to check we were happy with the work.  Payment was straight forward and we received a text immediately confirming payment with the warranty being sent within two weeks of payment.  I would recommend this firm and we will be keeping their details for any future work.

Five stars from quote to completion.
Had the whole house done, two front bays, six other windows and both doors. Excellent price, workmanship and quality of product. We had an issue with one of the bay window frames, which had a smallish crack across one corner. This was pointed out to us by the installation team and the replacement frame was ordered, delivered and installed in a very timely manner. We are delighted with the service received from Distinctive Windows.

Well we’re do we start. Start to the finish not on problem the lads very courteous helpful and polite.
Clean and tidy as they go I wasn’t there I was in work but my mum look after the house cos we were in work. If you have a problem it will get sorted ASAP or there will be a time in place .

Never wrote a review before on anything but felt after my dealings with Distinctive it was a must. From start to finish as from the initial contact to the team leaving on the final day I must say everything was dealt with the utmost professionalism. Pleasantly surprised by Kevins no pressure attitude - went on to Have 9 windows plus inner sill replacements and 1 front door fitted by this company.
