Dixons Estate Agents Reviews

I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.

Becky at Dixons Yardley office has been brilliant with the sale of my family home of 54 years, she put me at ease no stress, she has excellent communication about the area and between herself and me,she sold my house in 1 Day im absolutely buzzing,

After trying to sell my house with a previous estate agents with no luck, I decided to go to Dixons in kingsheath with Amelia Pace, which was the best decision I have ever made!
With her straight talking, empathy and desire to get the job done she got my house sold with her unbelievable drive and no messing around attitude. When it came to completion even though there were complications from the buyers side, Amelia with her perserverance and pushing both sets of solicitors, got the job done extremely professionally!
Amelia was always at hand and was willing to help with anything i needed, she also sorted me out with a rental property at short notice, she is an absolute credit to Dixons and is highly recommended!!!
Thank you Amelia I wouldn't have done this without you!!

House purchase through Dixons WILLENHALL Lovely supporting staff guidance and help when needed always at the end of the phone highly recommend the Willenhall branch for all your property needs

Fantastic! I've used Dixons for over 20 years to deal with my lettings portfolio. I wouldn't dream of using another Letting Agent. I can call at anytime and they will resolve any queries or issues I have immediately. They know the background of all my properties which helps with any dealings. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The team there is amazing, which is a testament to Meg, the Lettings manager.
Thank you, Meg, Holly and Freya.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The viewing with Hannah was fine and she was lovely. But after paying the deposits, first month's rent in advance and getting the keys it had all gone wrong. The boiler broke, the landlord left his belongings behind and is using the space i pay rent for for his car, then i find out my balcony has to be ripped up because of a leak into the apartment below. Raised multiple times with Jess and keep getting ignored. I have my own property to let out, which they know about, and there is no way I will let these cowboys manage it for me because the way they treat tenants is disgusting!

Castle Bromwich branch were absolutely brilliant when I sold my property recently. They whole team went above and beyond from start to finish and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in this part of the Midlands.

I've recently completed, I was a first time buyer, I'd had a previous bad experience where a dodgy seller pulled out at the last minute and cost me money, I was kind of struggling with the whole process, but Dixons made it easy for me. I was shown round the property by Alison, who knew everything about the property and the area, even who the neighbours were, then from there Sarah handled it and she was brilliant, always keeping me informed and chasing the other solicitor. Then my solicitor went into administration and couldn't carry on working and even then Sarah told me exactly what to do and handled it all for me once I had a new solicitor. It was a massive relief in the end. I'd definitely recommend Dixons after that.

Sarah Blair was very helpfull always available if needed help with queries would go above and beyond to give a great sevice
The whole team always friendly and made you feel a valued customer
Overall i would highly recommend Dixiobs on Erfington high street as the number one estate agents to go to

I have nothing but praise for the team at Redditch branch they always successfully let my properties and sort problems out. I find them all extremely easy to deal with, especially Holly her professionalism knows no bounds. 5⭐️

What a amazing team, they made my sale very easy and stress free. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Becky was brilliant. So glad i used Dixon Yardley to sell my property and would always recommend the Yardley branch. Keep up the good work Dixon Yardley. 💯

I had a really positive experience buying my home through Dixons Estate Agents Birmingham. Ethan and Sophie were both incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. They were proactive and clear in liaising with the seller and the solicitors, keeping things moving and ensuring communication never dropped, which made what can be a stressful process feel far more manageable.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to chase things when needed genuinely helped get the sale through smoothly. I felt well supported at every stage and would happily recommend Dixons, and especially Ethan and Sophie, to anyone buying or selling a property.

After hearing so many stories about estate agents turning everything into a numbers game, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the service we received
When you're looking for an investment property, it can be difficult to communicate your requirements clearly and even harder to find someone who genuinely listens. This is where Ellie truly excelled. She not only asked what we were looking for, but also took the time to understand the finer details and our end goal. Ellie didn’t just listen she delivered. She found us a property that ticked every box, and it only took one viewing for us to know it was the right one.
We were then supported by Tracey Clarke from the Willenhall branch, who continued to provide exceptional service throughout the buying process. She kept us updated between all parties, responded promptly to messages which is rare given how busy the housing sector is and ensured no question felt too small. Her knowledge, communication, and support were invaluable, and she kept us informed at every stage.
Both Ellie‑May and Tracey were constant professionals. We would absolutely recommend Dixons, and we would highly recommend Ellie‑May and Tracey for their exceptional customer service and commitment to getting things right. A five‑star experience from start to finish

I went to Dixon for a flat on Oldbury, all god till i got there to see the propriety i was shocking in what condition was the flat, absolutely disgusting, they want 850£ rent for one bedroom and another 850£ deposit, the condition of the walls absolutely unbelievably all wallpaper falls down and tales from kitchen missing, no dors between bedroom and kitchen, and at the end I have refused to get the flat they refuse to refunding my holdings fees, absolutely legal robers this agents.

I met Becca in Birmingham while I have put up for rent my house through Dixons estate agents. Becca was tasked to carry out viewing of interested people.
The reason that I am writing this review is that I was impressed how well Becca did carry out the viewings and how professional she comes across especially in communicating with people.

I would strongly advise to stay away from dixons/countrywide letting agents from managing a rental property. Especially the Warwickshire office as they would do everything in every opportunity to instruct their own contractors making false allegations of works required on the rental property to make money for themselves. They also hide their complaints procedures when contacted directly and asked about the process and their calls are not recorded so they make things up and completely disregard any instructions given by the landlords. Unfortunately complete professional crooks. They will put all sorts of barriers to raise a complaint and refrain from providing a final response to prevent escalation for their governing body to investigate.

Excellent service! Becca was professional, responsive . Highly recommend!”

Dixons Selly Oak was a stark contrast to what we experienced when we started our journey to sell our home. After a very disappointing experience with another agent, they were professional and proactive, always one phone call away. The team, Becky, Amy and Claire were consistent, persistent and determined, to ensure we got the sale. Great service. N&J

Holly was a star, really helped with my renting process and kept me up to date with everything that was going on. Would highly recommend

Kings Heath branch. Can't fault them. Main dealings were with Amelia but also had contact with Emily and Amreen. Although I was the purchaser not the vendor Amelia couldn't do enough for me. Always on hand whether I called in the office or contacted by phone or email. Communication was brilliant. Sorted many issues out for me throughout the whole house purchase. All three of them were helpful and friendly.
