David Lombardino | DLA Editors — Editorial & Consulting Reviews

Great staff and very helpful in guiding you to a great personal statment.

I've used DLA's help for both residency and fellowship and have been told by multiple program directors during interviews that my personal statement was really well written ! I can't thank DLA enough ! They are extremely prompt, very professional, know EXACTLY what I want to say and end up saying it in better words. Totally worth the money ! My husband will be applying next year and he's going to be taking their help too ! Thank you very much team, you guys are brilliant.

Thank you for the timely and excellent feedback on my personal statements.

Best editing service I've used. My editor helped me create a powerful, polished personal statement for my fellowship application that has many compliments during my interviews. Completely worth the cost and would used again if needed.

I was not truly happy with my personal statement. I did not read passion and wjatever I wanted to transmit through it. Furthermore, I believe that 3 cases as example are more than necessary to be inside a personal statement.

I have used DLA many times and the results have been excellent. I plan to continue to use their services for the foreseeable future.

I love that this company gave a fixed document return time.

I have yet encounter any company that gave the client information regarding when they will return the assignment/task. The company return the document on time and sometime even earlier. I would definitely recommend this company for someone who was on tight deadline.
I had the service for personal statement editing and feedback. The editor that I had was professional and courteous while giving feedback and gave good suggestion on what to improve.

Bottomline, I was able to finalized my personal statement less than 2 weeks and I am satisfied with the result.

Like their work or not, no refund will be issued by any means. So use their service at your own risk.

Excellent editors.Their suggestions are highly valuable. They are experts in editing. No doubt in that.

Mixed experiences with my CV. The original draft which I personally wrote was horrible - so they had a tough time editing, I guess. But since I asked them to edit the CV suitable for ERAS application, I was expecting the descriptions to be less than 1020 characters. But their edited versions did not meet the criteria and I had to re-edit again by myself.

This is my 4th editing document with DLA Editors & Proofers and I am very satisfied with their service and outstanding work and will definitely recommend them. I found my editors!

I toatlly regret it !!
Will try with someone else ...sadly I had to waste my money.. will never recommend your site to anyone..thanks for nothing

The editing of my research proposal was very superficial (very few corrections). I had chosen « Editing and Feedback » (the most expensive option), but I received just a few general feedback comments which were not at all useful. I claimed a discount to compensate the lack of work done on my manuscript, but the editor refused.

The service was excellent, it helps me a lot as a non-native English speaking, it also helps me a lot in communicating my intends and things I want to explain to the admission committee. They are also on time in returning my documents. One more thing, fast in response.
DLA Editor is recommended.

Excellent Company! Definitely improved my personal statement and application. The price is steep and the surcharge for "peak season" is annoying. They provide individualized editing and have a lot of experience.

I had both David and Terry review my CV, personal statement, and ERAS application. They did a phenomenal job with all of my projects and I am more than satisfied with the final products. As a team the DLA editors do a great job of communicating with you and critiquing your work in a way that allows you to express yourself in a clear, concise, and elegant manner. I would highly suggest this team to anyone who is struggling to start or finish any of the previously mentioned projects.

Great, fast service. Always happy with response time and work.

Thorough editing packaged in straight forward language was exactly what I had hoped for my novel. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend them.

Terry was rude and unprofessional. I will never use this editing company again. If I could rate this company as a zero I would.

Very poor service. I pay extra for same day or next day. The latter was not appear for use I could not but voice purpose. There was still miss typed words that were spelled incorrect. I sent you an email in reference to a refund and never got a response back. I will never use your services again ever.
