Mr Ian has provided excellent advice explaining product and recommended new parts for project and advice on some aspect of fire regulations and clarification whats parts required and how to install to in line with fire regulations regardless to my upgrade to flat fire door. Also found lock package where more value for price and better modern functional choice for that project than choice offered by everyday major wholesalers which normally use and got trade account. Delivery where fast and received all well packaged and protected from damage.

We had an ERA sashlock fitted to our front door which had failed after many years of service.Trying to get a replacement was virtually impossible apart from other makes, which would involve some intricate woodwork to get them to fit.However after finding Door Stuff had exactly what i wanted and confirmed by the measurements on their site and confimed by the the knowledgeable Iain ,i ordered it and was delivered in less than 24 hrs from Devon to Anglesey,and took less than 10 mins to fit- like for like.WELL DONE GREAT SERVICE

Good communication to order the right thing and then to locate it when delivered to a local wrong address.
Would have been 5 star but no instructions for fitting of guardsman style handle which has to be very precise right angle as bolt fastens both sides with narrow handle join to door. If we were doing again would use a template and drill in from both sides. Slight failure of angle meant we have had to use the small rose which was not the look we were hoping for.

It's not that the products or service is bad, they're OK really.

NO they get so few stars because ever since I ordered my items via their website I have been inundated with spam emails with adverts - I know this to be a fact as I have ordered other items of other websites and never once received any spam emails but since ordering from here these emails go straight into my inbox and are not filtered into my spam folder.

Sort it out Doorstuff mine and other peoples emails are NOT FOR SALE to all and sundry......

The handles I bought are of much better quality than the ones I could find locally (made in PRC).
