The receptionists are friendly also…

The receptionists are friendly also living conditions are perfect. However, the heating isn’t warm enough, sometimes I felt cold while sleeping. That’s why I gave four stars to Atlas.

The facilities are good with everything equipped. Enthusiastic staff makes me feel warm living here. The environment is pleasant and safe with convenient transport and shopping.

It was announced to be free

It was announced to be free, but for atleast two of the stands we needed to sign up for apps. The surfsimulator was to late. The icecream was empty at some point.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear the event didn’t meet your expectations. Our aim was to create a fun, party-style atmosphere for our residents, which is why we made the event free to attend, provided a wide range of food and activities, and encouraged residents to invite friends along.
While it can be difficult to get every detail right for such a large group, we’re pleased that many residents shared brilliant feedback. Just to clarify, the event (and food) was completely free. We did invite a couple of vendors, such as Hungry Panda, who offered optional extras for those interested.
Unfortunately, the surf machine experienced some mechanical issues which caused a delay, but it was running for the majority of the event. Similarly, ice cream did run out briefly but was restocked, and in the end, this was the most food we’ve ever provided at a single event. We’ll take your comments on board as we plan future events. Our goal is always to bring the community together in the best way possible, and we’re glad that so many of our residents enjoyed it.

It wasn’t organised at all there were people who doesn’t even live in the accommodation not even west view or west village that caused the actual residents to not even access anything poorly organised really disappointed

It's just too noisy

It's just too noisy. Many people are shouting and yelling in the middle of the night. The sound insulation of the room is extremely poor. I want to terminate the lease.

was placed in a flat with all international students who couldn’t speak english so so felt extremely isolated and took 4 months before being offered a room change

We’d like to clarify that all ensuite room allocations and changes are managed directly by the university. Unfortunately, this means we have no control over where students are placed or who they live with. While we do our best to support residents through any concerns, room changes must be requested and approved through the university’s accommodation team.

Atlas student accommodation in Vauxhall

Atlas accommodation in Vauxhall is in a very secure location, conveniently close to various transport options and within walking distance of some of London’s most famous landmarks such as the London Eye and London Bridge. The staff were consistently friendly, ready to help and very welcoming, and the entire building is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and security.
However, there are some serious downsides. When signing the contract for a room , you do so without knowing exactly what your room will look like, and there’s no opportunity to view or switch rooms to see if better options are available. Worst of all, every two weeks there seem to be some kind of repairs taking place, meaning that privacy is virtually non-existent especially if you booked a private studio.

Dear Newpark Team,

I am extremely satisfied with my accommodation experience at Newpark this year.

Regarding the overall atmosphere, I think the reception manager did an excellent job this year. For instance, there were some activities every month, which helped me and my friends in the apartment build a deep connection. Among them, my favorite was the Chinese New Year event. Considering there were many Chinese people in the apartment, the NP team specially ordered some Chinese-style meals, which I thought was very good and became a wonderful memory of this year. Although the current reception manager of NP has gone to Glasgow, I am very grateful to all the NP team members for organizing these activities. Here I would like to thank the front desk manager, Orsi and Szymon.

Secondly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Szymon. As a regular maintenance staff member of np, he always responds promptly whenever I need warranty service. Sometimes the issue is resolved on the same day, and sometimes within a few days. This is a point that I am very satisfied with.

Finally, I would also like to express my gratitude to all the staff on night duty. I am grateful for their efforts during the night. As I often pick up packages after six o'clock, they have provided me with a lot of assistance. I am extremely grateful to them.

Convenience and inconvenience

It’s located in the convenience place, but inside the building, they’re several inconveniences. Laundry machine not always allowed to be used in all, and three lifts only work in 2, there’s many of residents in the building, so these limits cause a bit inconvenient. BTW, always seeing the cleaning ladies sit in front of the lift or public seat and talking on phone, never really seen they are working, and sometimes heard they open the flat door and using vacuum, but only 5 sec.

We know the lift situation has been frustrating. We are working hard to get it back in service as soon as possible. Whilst we haven’t had any recent reports about issues with the laundry machines, we’re always happy to look into anything that’s not working properly-just let the team know.

Housekeeping regularly vacuum the hallways and sometimes open cluster flat doors briefly to make sure everything’s properly cleaned. It’s a small detail, but one we really value for keeping shared spaces fresh and tidy. Thanks again for your feedback-it helps us continue improving and making Atlas a great place to live.

The Cambridge Railyard student…

The Cambridge Railyard student accommodation is pretty good, it’s better than average i can say.
Despite just one time they got into my room without an earlier notice, the receiption is very helpful, and efficient.

experince

the room needed maintanence every 2 - 3 months. had to wait about 2 months for my window to be fixed (was not closing, happened during winter). rediator makes noises and rarely heats up. lamp was making noises and fell twice. lift in the bilding barely worked during my 43 week stay. people were coming in and out all the time. saying all this, regardless of the wait everything was fixed eventually. the staff is very polite, nice and always ready to help. all things listed above are minour problems. the price for the experience was decent however was expecting a bit more. if those problems are fixed id be more than happy to rend there again.
