Warranty is no good
We have a dreammaker spa, model 740L. We've had it for about 4 years maybe going on five. This model is a completely resin molded spa meaning it's not fiberglass. Early last year the shell cracked. We were told that this model would never crack and would hold up better than any fiberglass model. When this cracked we contacted our dealer who dealt with dreammakers on the warranty. Dreammakers solution for us was completely unacceptable. One solution was they would ship us a new shell and we would have to pay for the cost of shipping and also pay for somebody to remove all of the insides of our current spa and put them in the new shell. What kind of warranty is that? They also offered no kind of solution to fixing the crack. Our dealer told us to fix the crack with silicone caulk. Which we have been doing but the crack continues to spread. I have written to dreammakers with absolutely no response. They do not stand behind their warranty. If a spa is within warranty and it cracks beyond any repair that they offer then they should be replacing the hot tub completely. I refuse to spend more money because their product is faulty. I will never buy another one of these hot tubs. Once this is beyond repair by us any longer it will go in the trash.
