The singers were amazing, so much energy, voices great. Love the bass player.

Great act. The first set was perhaps a touch modern for my demographic but that said what they did was excellent and is not a criticism on the band.

Black and Gold were amazing from start to finish! The dance floor at our wedding was completely packed because of their fantastic energy and brilliant choice of songs! They created such a fun and lively atmosphere in the marquee and they made the party the success it was, we are truly grateful! Thank you so much Black and Gold!

Motown Gold was fantastic as well as the DJ. All of my guests commented on how great they were and the dance floor was hopping.

We booked Soul Fresh through EarCandy for our wedding reception and we could not have asked for a better band. They were absolutely incredible, our guests loved it and it was one of the highlights of the day. I cannot recommend them more highly. I just wish we could do it all again.

Booked band 13 months before my wedding day. 1 month before the date my ‘event co-ordinator’ went entirely radio silent and have never heard from her again. 1 week before the day (having made all payments) I was sent all invoices (by someone I had not dealt with during the prior 12 months) and had to explain all previous correspondence / payments again multiple times.
On the wedding day 2 hours before the band were due to arrive and start their set, I was informed by the sound engineer that they were unable to make it due to the lead singer going to hospital...
I was given the option to continue searching for a replacement band or the sound engineer could step in as a DJ.
With it being clear no replacement was likely we asked them to continue searching but if no replacement found, the sound engineer could step in.
The obvious prevailed, and the sound engineer had to step in as DJ (a ‘trained DJ). He played music off his laptop on the stage from the floor and we had no band as planned and hoped for.
We did get refunded our money - and the sound engineer DJ’ing on the floor was granted to us free of charge (cheers). However, this is not the point as we cannot repeat the day, and a band is what we desperately wanted for our wedding.
This is why we chose the company who have prided themselves on a ‘100% guarantee’ for the musicians turning up or being replaced if they cannot turn up; a company who have a 100% turnout record since ‘2010’ (supposedly).

They were incredible, they totally made our wedding day amazing, everyone was up dancing, they were so talented, absolutely loved them.

Absolutely fantastic.They were brilliant and all my guests have not stopped raving about them! Really made our wedding extra special by having such fantastic artists provide such wonderful entertainment. Can not recommend them enough.

They really were brilliant. Enjoyed every minute of them. The singer had an incredible voice, so many guest came up and told me that and asked where I had found them. The Band had also taken the time to look at my Disco choices and realized what my Taste was and banged out some great Rock anthems which were not on the original Band Song list.

An excellent service from start to finish- The Somebody’s were brilliant - all my guests comments were very positive- we really rated them - they were very friendly and helped to create a wonderful atmosphere. The disco was also very good - the venue was quite challenging as it was small but the boys adapted well.

Motown Gold is an amazing band and got everyone dancing. I would not hestitate to recommend them. I wish I had another occasion to hire them again!

Earcandy was an excellent choice for our party entertainment. We had a guitarist and vocalist jazz duo which set the perfect atmosphere for my husband’s 50th birthday daytime party at home. The performers were very professional, prompt arriving and polite, fitted in with our guests effortlessly and were a pleasure to have in our home. The repertoire was varied and always kept to an appropriate volume so people at our party could still converse with each other at the same time as enjoying the background music. I would highly recommend Earcandy.

We had 'Black and Gold' perform at our wedding in December 2018. The communication with Earcandy was fantastic, they helped me to chose the right band and the perfect package for us. Getting to create your own playlist for the band to play and choosing the disco music is pretty brilliant. It was a lovely touch to have the band sing our first dance, it made it extra special. The musicians were polite and professional, they set up so discreetly, I hadn't even realised they'd arrived! I highly recommenced using Earcandy for your event.

Our daughter recently got married and Earcandy provided the evening entertainment and we were not disappointed. We chose the band Black and Gold, the music was excellent, the band members were friendly and polite and prompt and efficient throughout the evening. many positive comments were received from our wedding guests. Highly recommend this company. Always prompt at replying to emails/texts. Communication was consistent. Provided a perfect ending to a perfect day.
