Efficient and prompt
Kim O'Hara answered every email and question promptly. If she wasn't available or on holiday we were told beforehand and her assistant Adele dealt competently with any issues. My husband's mum's house was being sold to pay for her dementia care. Kim dealt with the council requests for payment efficiently and arranged any disbursements due to them when the house was sold. Chased up the Solicitors involved in the ongoing chain. All paperwork involved in the sale received by post within 2 days of the completion of sale. I would recommend.

Head injury
Overall experience and communication good but very disappointed with the payment for a head injury and the fact that they didn’t advise me at the beginning how low they assessed the payout to be or I would have maybe looked at other companies. If you are in a position to need to claim ask the company what their initial payment assessment is, it might not have made any difference but I expected much more for a head injury.

Compensation awards are assessed objectively based on the medical evidence, the nature and severity of the injury, and established legal guidelines. While different firms may have slightly different views during the course of a claim, valuations are ultimately grounded in the same legal framework and evidence rather than varying significantly from one solicitor to another. It is therefore not always possible to provide a definitive valuation at the outset, particularly before the medical evidence has been obtained.
We do, however, appreciate your comments about managing expectations earlier in the process and will reflect on your feedback as we continually look to improve the information and guidance we provide to our clients.
