I loved studying at EC. I arrive a bit shy, but I improved a lot with the classes.It was a wonderful experience!

I joined a language trip at EC Malta on June 27th, 2025, and it was an amazing experience! The teachers were friendly, supportive, and made learning fun and effective. I met people from all over the world, and the school staff were always helpful and welcoming. I can highly recommend EC Malta to anyone who wants to improve their English while enjoying a great time abroad!

The experience was very interesting and fruitful because you completely immerse yourself in the language and you meet many people from all over the world. Good teachers, helpful and dynamic lessons. I recommend it to everyone!

I really enjoyed my stay. The team was very friendly, and the teachers were excellent. I always felt comfortable, and I improved my English considerably.
Modern methods and equipment, as well as the good, modern classrooms.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this school. I believe the service provided does not match the high cost, and several aspects need significant improvement.

First, the materials. We were charged for them, yet all we received was a copy of a book that no teacher used throughout the year. Meanwhile, English students receive a different book each class change, while French students are given loose sheets. This not only creates unnecessary waste but also makes one question whether paying for this service is worth it.

Regarding the educational level, I have been at the same level for 8 months, and there is no opportunity to progress further because the highest level offered is intermediate. I completed the first three levels in 3-4 months, but since then, I have felt completely stuck. Some teachers repeated the same activities multiple times, and overall, there has been little real progression. It is hard to understand how in a French-speaking city they cannot find competent French teachers, yet the English department seems to hire and replace staff easily.

The administration also leaves much to be desired. It is clear that some staff show favoritism toward certain students, either because they are close or share the same nationality. I was particularly upset on a very hot day when the school decided to ignore my opinion about canceling classes. They did not consider the well-being of students—or, most importantly, the teachers.

That said, some teachers were excellent and genuinely dedicated to their work, although others presented challenges that were never addressed despite complaints from students. I also hope the school reviews teacher compensation, as they are doing demanding work and deserve fair recognition.

In conclusion, my experience at this school has been disappointing, and I would not recommend studying French here, especially for the long term.

J'ai eu la chance de passer 5 jours dans l'école EC SCHOOL de Malte. L'accueil est très chaleureux. Tous sont soucieux de votre bien être et de votre intégration au sein du groupe. Les cours sont de qualité et les professeurs très compétents et bienveillants.Les sorties proposées sont très intéressantes et les petites soirées sont bienvenues afin de dialoguer en anglais. Je recommande l'école !!!

It was a huge experience. Was nice to talk to new people and to learn language from the best ones.

In my opinion, it was gerat but some lessons werent effective than I expect. Because the teacher's preparation and competence for the lesson varied.

The language school has not met my expectations as far as the language course concerns. The staff is not friendly at all.

I have been studying at EC in Cape town for 6 months in 2023.

There are several problems at the school.
About problems.

1- a lot of students and just a few employees
Therefore, employees don't have much time to handle requests and requirements of the students.

Moreover, some classrooms are too small for 15 or even 10 students more noises from other classes that if they turn on the recording you couldn't probably hear the teacher in your class.

2- numbers of arabic students are a lot maybe 70 or 80 percant of the students particularly in low levels classes so, most of speaks arabic in the class and teachers do not have authority to ask them to leave the class if they keep speaking other
language than English in the class.

Unlike,Goodhope school they have limits of arabic students in school and in the school as well.

3- the place where you do Engilsh test that measure you English level for students it is in carridor near classrooms I can't mention how is that annoying 10 or 15 students are walking ,speaking and laughing around you when doing English test for example, they ask my to do the placement test in the break time that was worse time ever I couldn't focus on the test.

4- about teachers, there is excellent teachers , good and not good enough
It depends on English class that you are attend some of them has more experience then others and some teacher could easily miss your homework or take one week to correct it like teacher Stephen.

5- placement test is different from what you study even if you attend all class through two months is going to allow you to succeed high marks in placement test and I think to have one placement test per a month is unsuitable.

6- teachers don not have a clue about test questions so, they can not prepare you for the test and some teachers ask you to pay them coffee for recommendations.

There is a teacher name is John can push you to next level without taking the placement test and others can not
And I have spook e to the manger Tareq he just ignore it.

The people were very welcoming !
It was easy to integrate even though I was the only French person.
The classes were fun and enriching ! ;)

The language course was useful for me because it kept my attention throughout, the lessons were interactive, and the teachers made sure that everyone understood the tasks. Overall, I found it beneficial and left the course with very positive experiences.

I attended a short refresher course on 2025 May in Bristol (UK). It was an excellent experience, the location of the school is very convenient, the organisation of the courses is very good, and I would like to highlight the teachers and their effort to teach dynamic classes.

It was amazing being part of the EC family. EC London is a wonderful place to learn English and to make friends. I was afraid of not making friends but everyone at EC, even the Staff Team, were really nice.

I can only say that the apartments rented out by this school absolutely do not meet hygiene standards. They are dirty, unhygienic, and filthy. It’s all about the money; the rental operation is obviously driven solely by profit. Especially the single rooms in Mercury Residence, which have no windows, are in a catastrophic condition. It’s an act of selfishness to house people in such conditions just to make money. This is an insult to the residents who live there and spend their money.
Additionally, the Campus Hub is just as dirty. The cleaning staff are not even slightly committed to keeping it clean and hygienic.

È stata una bellissima esperienza. La scuola è organizzata molto bene e gli insegnanti sono fantastici. In particolare devo ringraziare Filip che ha reso ogni giorno e ogni lezione, un’esperienza bella ed interessante. Grazie!

I attended a refresher course on February 2025 and really liked the concept of the school: in particular I appreciated the fact it is also customized for "old" students like me. All the staff and the teachers were very good, flexible, helpful and friendly. I found a perfect organization and learned something new that I will use in my job. And Dublin is amazing, too.
