eDirectory.com is the best. Customer service to me is the backbone of a business. My representative Daniel Storm is one of the best. I can't thank you enough , I had a certain type of program I wanted and He was able to provide me with all the answers to my question.

The price we paid for the value eDirectorys software is Immaculate. Paying for eDirectorys SaaS software is so far, seeming like a great business decision. Accounting for the fact their software is already created, it creates savings on both development time, and cost. And in terms of value, with whizzy wig technology to modify the software to our liking, we are able to save time and money for extra development, getting a feel for the software in the process. Furthermore, if we need greater modification done, eDirectory has a team that is already familiar with the software you can pay for custom development work, and we plan on using it if the price is right.

I have been very impressed with the quick responses to my emails in regards to questions about the eDirectory.com. I am also very impressed with the onboarding process. Though I am just beginning to set up my online directory, so far the customer service with eDirectory is outstanding, and I have faith that this will continue.

The demo with Daniel Storm was great. I came in with a list of questions. He answered all of those to my satisfaction and gave me a tour of the back end. He was very knowledgeable.

Simple user interface for someone not IT experienced.

Overall, the user-friendliness that the eDirectory presents is what really sold me. Everything you need to start a directory is there, & then some.

The software is loaded with features and it's quite easy to use. I particularly like how many revenue-generating features it has. Support has been very responsive when I have questions.

Sales focused approach, old rigid software and everything is a paid addon.

I am a developer and my client chose eDirectory purely because of their flashy website and promises it contains.

A lot of claims that on their website are not true, or they make it look like you can't get the same thing for free on other platforms.

Their communication is sales focused, they quoted us about 4 times as much for a simple feature that I know I can build on another platform for 1-2 hours (I'm a developer). I built that feature on another platform (a 3rd party software) in 2 hours. They needed 13 hours to make that on their own software?

My client paid for a discounted development hours package - yet they failed to mention that and quoted us in full aside.

One department doesn't know what the other is doing - we had emails from a sales rep, then from a developer, didn't know who to turn to with what, each was telling us to go talk to the other about X.

Their software is very dated, it does the basics right, but as soon as you want something custom - that's when they bog you down with inflated hours.

Their software has very odd, limiting requirements - it requires CentOS to run - no normal hosting company will give you that, so you are limited to either pay for some obscure custom server with CentOS or you pay them for their hosting - which is slow (they are not a hosting company, obviously). I tested a simple demo eDirectory running on their hosting against a simple WordPress demo directory running on a cheaper standard hosting and WordPress performed better.

Their system can't even do simple things like customising your header or footer without coding it all in HTML. No visual builder for that - that's very 90s. Every other solution that's out there is better in that.

To summarise - Stay away if you don't want to be stuck with an old system, a team that will milk you for money and inflate the development prices.

You are much better off using WordPress and one of the many directory solutions available there.
