edX Reviews

I signed up for a cloud computing course in May of 2019. At the time of enrollment I was promised $600 in credits towards hands on Cloud training at the end of the course. Months later they still have not delivered and I get the run a round from support management. I feel cheated and I believe EDX is running a scam.

I love edX.org. I am very impressed with how they have set up their website. It shows so much information about the classes. They have everything that you need to know like the course description, syllabus, information about the professors, how much they cost, the duration of the class, etc. I also love the fact that the sound is great on the videos and they have the transcripts of every video for each class. This makes it so much easier to take great notes because you don't have to stop the video and then replay it. I am currently taking 2 classes with edX which are English grammar and Animal Behavior. I absolutely love the Animal Behavior class. The English class is somewhat of a challenge for me right now because I graduated from college in 1996. I'm very rusty when it comes to grammar and writing. It's been 23 years since I have been in a college setting and this is the first time that I have been taught by university professors but it makes me feel so proud. So far, edX has been fantastic! I'm thinking about enrolling in the oceanography class. I just don't want to overwhelm myself. Taking 3 classes is keeping me very busy these days but so far, I can handle it. Adding the oceanography class though might be overdoing it. It looks pretty time consuming according to the syllabus.

Their support is horrible. I cannot log into my account and cannot get any support. My password was been changed multiple times without any success. Additionally, their is no support in the classes. The lab instructions are incorrect. You can post screenshots requesting help, and it goes unanswered. It is a total rip off!

Hola quiero saber si la verificación tanto de la foto que solicitan y la foto de un documento de identidad es seguro y si alguien ha tenido algún problema con esto .

It was actually superb in one word. Doing job attending any course was like a dream where edx.org make it easier to learn many things together with one pace with most flexibilaty and world class qualiy.

edX offers me the possibility of continued learning from the best universities around the world.
As a psychologist, I can specialize my domain at any moment, anywhere with my mobile or labtop. It is just great ! I learned more there with great professors than during my master's degree in my Belgian university, where a lot of time was waisted attending the course, being present. Here with edX, at midnight or at the airport, in a train, in the car you can listen the clases. Also you feel taking part of a beautiful multidiverse community. You share more afterwards with events and seminars, meeting those wonderful and nice persons, those fantastic professors with their leadership competences and who make you meet their environment, and other people.
It is so great that posibility of micromaster or even MBA online for people like me who doesn't want to waste time but who want to be a continued learner.
My courses were Business leadership from UQueensland and Sciences of Happiness at work BerkeleyUC, also Data analysis.
Such amazing experience I won't forget !

The major part of the courses are subject to a "voluntary" certificate for 99$. Besides, if you do not want to do so, you will not be able to check the duties because they are only "for certificated subscribers".
There are other pages to go for free.

JUST GO TO YOUTUBE AND SEARCH THE FIELD YOU ARE INTERESTED FOLKS!

The edX platform is a great resource for learning new skills and refining knowledge. There is a disconnect though on what is on offer and what is going to provide value for career and life. For example, many courses require certification to get the full experience, but not all certifications are worthwhile for future employers or higher learning institutions. It would be great to see more standardized certifications that have an equivalency to university credit at the graduate level. Especially from the founding institutions!

It was my first time learning with a MOOC. The experience was very thrilling and a good way to get new knowledge.
I took the whole program and it was really good strucrured, clear and easy to follow. The contents, the exercices and the teachers were excelent.

A great site that offers free and paid MOOC. Fully trusted.

edx is a professional, modern, motivating and inspiring platform for education in so many different areas, which can be either of personal interest or essential for future career development. Being able to work on a PC but also via the app makes it easy and convenient. I very much enjoyed learning with edx. Their customer support deserves 5 stars.

The content I learned was tremendously helpful, and the learning material I received put me on the right path to completing my courses. The fact that the courses give you content that would otherwise be extremely expensive is a blessing.

Edx has helped me greatly in moving my career forward. I am totally greatful for the opportunity to have been educated and have access to courses I would never have had opportunity to access. Thank you.

The course I took is very helpful and informative. Helped me to look into situations in a new perspective. Now waiting for my Professional Certificate to arrive.

I have really enjoyed edx as a platform and I really cant think of anything that could have been done better

issue resolution as you are taking classes leaves a lot to be desired and needs to be improved. Submission of the final capstone was clumsy and difficult. Since people were just reviewing it would have been easier to do a submission of PDFs.
