The content is appaling.
You learn far more from free youtube videos and they didn't even sent me certificate (did the paid version)

Entré a un curso bastante decente, pero intentan vender el certificado después de cada video. Sumado a eso la profesora anuncia videos o links que no aparecen (o sea que ni siquiera subieron correctamente el curso). Y hay dos videos repetidos. Otra cosa que me extrañó fue que sea un curso de una universidad chilena y el certificado traiga el logo de una universidad mexicana. Aunque según la red social de una de ellas ví que efectivamente tienen ese acuerdo. Pero se me hace desordenado. Lo único bueno es el material en video, ya que la profesora explicaba muy bien. Mi intención era pagar el certificado, pero ante la insistencia, la ordinariez de la plataforma y la inutilidad del certificado (no lo emite la universidad sino edx y le ponen el logo de adorno), preferí no comprar.

Paid $299 for Harvard Certificate, edX Claims Payment Didn't Go Through

I enrolled my son in a Harvard course through edX and paid $299 for a physical certificate to be shipped. However, edX is now stating that the payment didn't go through, despite my bank statement clearly showing the charge. Horrible support, they don't even read the request nor try to address any issues related to it, they just reply in an automatic/robotic way and close the request, once I realized I can get the Harvard certification free from the Harvard website itself, I don't even want the financial aid anymore, it's scummy to ask for payment for something that is provided for free.

Worst course I've ever done in internet is Introduction to Web Accessibility by edx. So poor contents, very bad UX, things are mostly explained in text which can be explained in interactive videos. It's super old school. They should really improve everything.

The course was interesting, however, cannot be used as a certificate without the full payment as the disclosure states, therefore, even with completion you can't use the training for your resume.

If it seems too good to be true, it is... You can find the programs offered through other informational programs without having the trainer explain that you're not one of their students but a client.

I had enrolled in a certificate program "Foundations of AI IBM professional Certificate". However one of the courses "Introduction to Watson AI" within the program was not available for most part of the year and was only available for a two months in between which had outdated content from 2019. Even that was taken off and I was not able to achieve the program certificate.

I contacted them over multiple emails, but no response from their support team. No refunds provided to the certificate program to which I was enrolled in.

Excellent experience with edX, I audited a course and gained a lot of insight, tools and tips from expert lecturers/professors. Would recommend to anyone serious about professional growth and able to dedicate the time and focus to learning on an online platform. Thank you!

There are errors within the program and the customer service is poor they do not even reply let alone solving your problem. The errors are within the answers to the tests and also labs which you need to pass to get the certificate, so if you fail you have to pay them again

I started a data analytics course with edX at the end of April (2024). I thought I could get through it quickly. I am not sure where I am in the class because there is no navigation or widget to show me my progress in the course. The class is a few years old and the course specifically said that if you have a problem using R, post a message on the discussion board and someone will contact you within two business days. The first R error I encountered took someone 2 weeks to contact me, BUT I first had to contact customer service to elevate the issue. I am on my second R error and entering the third week of waiting for someone to help me. I have no idea if I will be able to complete this course due to the lack of technical support. I am very unhappy and frustrated.
