As promised, I will take my time to properly assess each material I’ve received, approaching them one at a time. I chose to begin with Oud Yusuf. i have started with EO No1 ASSAM pure perfume. that's another story.

Some oils ask for attention. Others ask for patience.

The first drop of Oud Yusuf touched a blotter on 14 February 2026. Today, 16 March 2026, the paper still breathes. Each time I pass by it, a quiet sweetness rises, soft apricot wrapped in a creamy, almost vanilla-like warmth resting on a refined oud core.

Every day reveals something new. A different facet, a different floral nuance, as if a new flower emerges each time. It has a way of captivating without ever becoming loud. Even after all this time, the scent still lingers.

On skin, the experience unfolds differently. The opening carries the familiar language of agarwood, a gentle smokiness, slightly medicinal, unmistakably oud. Yet within minutes it transforms. Subtle floral tones appear, lilac-like, before settling into a smooth, creamy wood that feels composed rather than heavy.

What surprised me most is the diffusion. Many oud oils stay close to the skin, but Oud Yusuf moves lightly through the air. Even during an MMA training session, through heat and sweat, it remained, softened, warmer, and somehow more beautiful.

This is not an oil that reveals itself all at once. It evolves slowly, hour by hour, day by day, rewarding patience and attention.

For me, this has been a benchmark in understanding what refined oud can be.
